[Q] Root in Argentina and Brazil official update

Since nothing seems to work, and the 'new' root method is useless without a formal image, I just took it to my operator and they reformatted my phone within 3 days.
My personal conclusion
currently there is apparently no solution to get on the Motorola A953 Milestone 2 with software version 2.3.6 R01/R02 root.
- No downgrade possible
- All major Roottools not work
- The version of the CG37 partition does not work
Possibly there is not the correct file for MS2? (http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1606353)
- A kernel downgrade is not because the boot loader is version 4 =
(http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1497263)
- An attempt to have to pack the file (CG39.smg/Systemimage) from 2.3.4 to 2.3.6 does not work for me (Boot logo is there, but I can not get into the recovery)

Well, I hope there is... I'm very disappointed with Moto, I'm thinkig of switching to HTC...

Hi guys, I'm new on the xda but got the same problem.
I'm using M2 with Claro Operator
System version: 45.2.2720.A953.AmericaMovil.en.01
Revision number: 02
Android: 2.3.6 gb
Build: 4.5.2-51_M2L-27
I can't flash any other roms, or either root the phone, please help 'cause I really want a MIUI or CM in my devide. (and root acces obviously)
Solution for GT-P1000L
Hello people! Sorry for my bad english.
I have a solution for 2.3.6 Vivo BR version, official update. I've made on a GT-P1000L 2.3.6 P1000LVIJR2. I know it's not for M2, but can be a clue to find the solution or people with GT-1000L.
Just warning: I won't take responsability for bricked phones. Only tested on a GT-P1000L with official VIVO brazilian update..
For the procedure, will be necessary 2.3.3 kernel of HumberOS.
It's hosted on 4shared and you can find in the HumberOS site. Since I don't have 10 posts to post the link, you can google it "Odin-Heimdall-HumberOS-Kernel-20111102".
Just do the kernel change through Odin or CwM. On Odin make sure to check "Auto Reboot" and "F. Reset Time". After the change, it will stay on the logo screen for a good long time (mine takes around 30 min), with some voice (I forget her name) saying somethings that I couldn't listen. And after that, will reboot and you must have root access - or not, I don't remember if I used SuperClickOne after that.
Ps: For those with troubles to do a factory reset after the change, you must boot the phone on recovery mode [Power + Volume(+)]. Than go to:
Wipe menu -> wipe data / factory reset
Wipe menu -> wipe cache
And for last
Wipe menu -> wipe dalvik cache.
I think that the procedure can be done in both versions, P1000L and P1000. The only difference between these versions is the TV, a hardware difference.
Since this kernel can grant root acess in this rom, maybe int other ROMs it can be done with other modified Kernels.

Milestone 2 users cannot change their kernel like that, and worse, to another phone model's kernel.
no, its not possible, i have all my apps in english version, to change system languages you could use "go launcher ex" indeed the default launcher , for change the kayboard language you can use other keyboard application that you can find on market, such as swiftkey or slideIT

And didn't work.
The RSD says that there is an internal error, and I just toke of the battery, putted back in and turned on the phone, and there was the Vivo rom. I tried with the two retail rom.
So, we just need to wait for somebody really good at this unlock phone thing to find the solution for this.
At least one thing this vivo rom is good (I know, sarcasm), even if I try to brick my phone, the rom don't let me do it...
