Great Rom with good battery life. Awesome work :)

Just wondering if you could remove the first assert line. I have a Rogers s3 and I have been installing sapir. Every time when I update to the newest version, I have to manually remove the line otherwise I will get an assert failed message..
Yes, though I'd rather add a new OR statement. Do you know what is the device code?

As I mentioned, I have been using Sapir for a while now. When I used Rom Toolbox Lite and look at the build.prop, it shows d2att. However, when I install updates, I still receive assert failed message.

This should be the original build.prop value for our phone (Rogers S3). Hope it helps.

original build.prop values for Telus, Rogers, Bell Code:

ro.product.model=SGH-I747M
ro.product.name=d2vl
ro.product.device=d2can

Here is the message I got when I update today:

Installing: /emmc/Sapir-10-20121028-NIGHTLY-d2att-erezak.zip
Finding update package...
I:Update location: /emmc/Sapir-10-20121028-NIGHTLY-d2att-erezak.zip
I:using /data/media for /emmc/Sapir-10-20121028-NIGHTLY-d2att-erezak.zip.

Thanks.

I am having problem with keyboard, it failed to load I am using the latest Sapir - December 7th Release Custom ROM.

Even my browser also failed to be opened.

I had tried with gapps and without gapps; both resulted the same.

    Sapir is a CM10 based ROM from CyanogenMod Gerrit with cherry-picks and other changes, such as the in-rom DPI Changer.
    It has recently been made available for the I747 as well.
    Credit goes to the CyanogenMod dev team.

    ROM also available for other devices in the site.

    Directly from CyanogenMod forum:
    Code:
    #include
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
     */

    Download

    Changelog (full one in site):
    [*] DPI Changer
    [*] Enable nav bar
    [*] Left nav bar
    [*] Transparent nav bar

    Open Issues:
    • Camera - the usual issue. For now, I simply use Play Store camera apps, such as LG Camera.
    • Superuser - CM recent changes caused an issue with CM10. Workaround: Install SuperSU, run it and let it replace the binary.
    • When DPI is changed to 240, screen may flicker. Workaround: Go to Developer Options and check "Disable HW Overlays".

    (Yes, the image is Galaxy Nexus - the ROM is available to other devices as well).

    Not seeing the option for the transparent status bar. Anyone else?
    At least for now, it's not an option - you just get it. :)
    In Trebuchet, it's also transparent navigation bar.
