**WARNING** this requires an unlocked bootloader. Unlocking the boot loader will result in voiding your warranty.

p.s. of course there is a way to relock the bootloader... :)

Mirror, 3 parts from mediafire (Courtesy of keunhuvac, Thanks!): #updated to mediafire due to box.com bandwidth limit, thanks again keunhuvac!
[part1][part2][part3]

Code:
fastboot flash system system_73_sg_preroot.img
This will give you root for the device.

This root image comes with SU/SuperUser/busybox pre-installed.

p.s. I will post an updated version later on for some modifications - stay tuned!

Have fun XPSing!

p.s.2 mistakenly reported this as SG firmware, it's in fact Lebanon Generic. Please accept my apology.

p.s.3 In order to see the full size of the system parition (1007.9MB) you would need to do a Settings reset (Settings > Privacy Settings > Settings Reset) Don't worry, it won't wipe your SD Card or data. Please re-enable debug mode and unknown sources.

update2: I've compiled a newer system.img with the following implementations:
- updated all system apps that were in /system/app, to name a few: Google Play, Youtube, Facebook, etc.
- modified SystemUI; now with Toggle Widgets

After flashed the IMG.

Is the /system partition is aboub 1GB

Thanks :)

The system partition is about 698Mb.

I will be creating an improved version of this root, as I need to expand the image to 1Gb partition. (Although, I highly doubt you would want to move that many user apps to the system parition.)

The actual partition will look like this:

Code:
Filesystem Size Used Free Blksize
/system 723.5M 437.7M 285.8M 4096

After you do a settings reset, as reported by bin4ry and others in their root thread, it will show as following:
Code:
Filesystem Size Used Free Blksize
/system 1007.9M 438.0M 569.9M 4096

I do not have ADB or another Terminal.
Can I check something other to help?

Install terminal emulator form gplay and type df.

    Hi ,
After the flash, the System Rom is 757MB (information from Titanium BackUp).
I performed a Settings reset (Settings > Privacy Settings > Settings Reset).
After that, system Rom is still 757Mb...
What do am I doing wrong?

    That's odd.

Can you post me a dump of this in command prompt (assuming you have adb):

    adb shell
    df -h
    1
After update, i still have 1 Gb of system partition, no change!
