HTC P4350 (Herald) - Not Wing

[Versions]
CE OS : 5.2.20757
Build : 20757.1400
NET : 3.5.7283.00

[Memory]
Storage Free : 43 MB
Memory Free : 28 MB

[Notes]
Doesn't include Touchflo as I use the spb smart scrolling

Flash using RUU and Hard-SPL

This is a basic herald rom without any htc applications so it can be customised after flashing

Customises itself to the UK region
so this is only for the herald not the wing won't work on the wing???

It works fine on the wing, you just have to apply the wing keyboard mappings..

I don't bother tho and have gotten used to the keys being wrong.. hows that for being lazy?

I have to admit.. I am liking the simplicity of this rom. It is fast, slim and to the point. Doesn't have a lot of crap I never use.

I installed SPB mobile shell, Google Maps, Live Search and am using the Tzones proxy hack.

Email set up with Exchange and gmail works fine..

I don't really send/receive MMS so I can't vouch for that.

If you mean your service providers internet connection, the settings need to be entered manually.

Do a search for "Network Wizard" and install that CAB on your phone..

Then run the application and choose your provider to automatically set up your network settings.

it might be just as easy to do by hand, i have never tried. but the network wizard has never failed and works fine on this rom.

The Active Sync usually run on the background. Maybe after 5 minutes I shut it down, it will running again and again. How can I turn it off for permanent?

Tampa
sync

This is a very fast rom :) but, I'm unable to sync consistently :(. I was on a pdaviet rom, and now i'm going to go to a papa rom. Touchflo is nice, but a bit of a drain.

After using this ROM for a couple of days I went back to OTP 7.7.
Because I noticed that my battery life with this ROM was drastically reduced from 2/3 days on a single battery charge to just 1 day..

Maybe somebody has some tips or tricks to prolong it....

P.S. Bluetooth and WIFI were disabled and my ohone was underclock usind HS++

I think I'm getting to the bottom of the activesync with windows problem. I had not noticed as I don't sync to my desktop.

Thanks for your updated version but it's still has a problem. Your ROM always run the ActiveSync automatically in the background. Please check it and turn it off. Thanks! :D
