guys i compilied aosp 8.1 with help of sony guide if you wanna try here is link

instructions

install adb first here is link
then copy all files their and open cmd or powershell by shift+ right click
for windows 10 ONLY
IF POWERSHELL OPEN
THEN TYPE cmd

now for all user in cmd type
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot flash oem SW_binaries_for_Xperia_Android_8.1.6.4_r1_v10_yosh ino.img

Congrats for this really nice job! ????
Now, regarding the camera, I think is very hard, you must find the camera driver library and edit there but also I think you must edit in much more areas like mediadevices, Qualcomm image processor, maybe a generic Qualcomm cam driver and much more...

Also you can check if stock camera can be ported and patched to not search for those drm keys, that way is easier i think and also it enables super slow motion...

Holy crap, 120Hz actually works??? I've been waiting for it for so long!
are there any bugs with the 120Hz refresh rate? How's the battery?

unless Gravitybox gets updated, i'm not going to lose my drm keys!
But GREAT WORK MAN, though sad 120hz/gCam are probably never going to be available on stock

Wow. One more step and i'm convinced. But...
Still don't want to give up OTA and some other sonystyle just for the google camera and 120hz.
Like, prediction feature and 960fps aren't gonna work. I admit it's not as cool as having more detail and a greater dynamic width in everyday shots, but for me personally this alone isn't worth switchin to AOSP yet...
need to rethink my views...

On 8141 device:
1080p120 : doesn't work
2160p60 : doesn't work

I'm more and more thinking about my phone has been produced on a monday :/

How do you want to see that? Do you have a 120hz+ monitor? Otherwise you cant see the diffrence because you refresh rate of your phone/computer is to low.

There are many Razer phone/Sharp Aquos R reviews that show the difference. You can see the difference even in some 30fps Youtube vids.

Same here. G8141 and when i select 1080p @ 120hz, it asks if I want to restart the UI, but then the screen goes black and I have to reset the phone.
