Yeah, thanks for ur work, although there are many cwm different versions floating around.......
Its getting kind of confusing now...i am too on v 3.1.0.1, but ever since 3.0.2.8 cedesmith offmode charging patch has been omited or, left aside for rm compatibility.....now we are back to 3028....can u tell us what is diff on your build img?, or is it same as before?, amyhow, the flasher is really nice! Congrats

I get this well known error using the new setup:

An error has occurred
Read below for more information

Error Description: USB init failed
Info: .\RSPL\RSPL.cpp (736)

It won't work, even when I choose to always run DAF.exe as administrator.

I think you somehow messed up the files inside the folder. Download the zip again, extract it again and start setup.exe normally, that should fix it

Well, seems like it was another problem. I had to remove the MAGLDR device from the device manager. Think the driver was corrupted or something like that.

Now it's working fine! Thanks!

Im a bit confused. I use ROM Manager in the Tyween's clk version ROM Im using, and latest clockworkmod recovery is already at 3.1.0.0 version for HD2, so I would think it's a higher version than 3.0.2.8. Anybody can explain what this means?

I'm also curious what the difference is. I can install 3.1.0.0 from ROM Manager and it "appears" to work fine. Is koush's github a different branch? I know there were some changes made for the HD2 specific recovery (such as removing NO NO NO NO NO) in the other thread that is not in the CWM recovery.

3.1.0.0, is compiled from the code from CyanogenMod github, and not koushes github, and therefore is also more upto date.

the yes/no patch is available still in seadersn's thread, I will continue to maintain that

the next version in RM will be compatible with only cLK 1.4.0.1, and no previous version will work, this is so that it will be flashable for both MAGLDR and cLK via RM

plus updating through RM, i.e. the version number, have to be requested and I do that as and when I need to push any updates. and soon there will be updated, keep your eyes peeled

Thanks for making things clear arif-ali. I didnt know that flash_image binary works with MAGLDR. And yes, i was planning to add commit changes to the thread soon. And i didnt know that cyanogenmod git was different from koush's. I will compile from cm git next time.

Hey ksubedi,

So that you know, the source code now on github has changed such that you only need to compile one recovery. The relevant code changes by me are now in github. i.e. that is if you are compiling from a repo sync from the CM build

@ksubedi, if you want to combine all efforts, then PM me and I will show you what i have, and we could incorporate everything I have, there's no point having multiple recoveries

Note to users, anybody that does use the new version when ksubedi, it should work only with cLK 1.4.0.1, and will not work with previous cLK's as there is a script that will detect clk version by checking the /proc/cmdline, and this method is not available in previous versions.
