Information:
This is the recent ACG/USCC EH09 leak/build for the Mesmerize that has been debloated and tweaked for use on our beloved VZW Fascinates. The two phones are similar enough that the software is interchangeable with a few edits. This ROM leaves everything mostly stock, but it improves what has to be improved and it includes other mods as well to improve your experience.
Objectives:
The goal of this ROM is to provide a simple, clean interface (closer to stock) while removing the bloat and fixing/editing some stuff to improve the ROM. If you want reliability over features, this is for you.

If you are on Beta 1 or 2 already, don't use this! Use the CWM patch below instead!
Please read the installation instructions! Don't complain if root/Busybox doesn't work if you don't! There are some issues with permissions when using Odin, and until I figure out what's wrong please follow the instructions.

Extract with 7Zip, Flash in Odin.
Installation:
This will erase your data! PLEASE make a backup of your apps and data.
This will flash all the required bootloaders and files for this ROM. It is recommended you start with this.
After using Odin to flash the ROM and booting up once, download the following zip:

and place it on your SD Card. Then go back into download mode by powering off your phone, removing your battery and holding the volume down button while plugging in your USB cable and Odin this recovery (CWM 2.5.1.x) (any CWM recovery with Edify support will do):

Replace your battery, hold volume up + down + power until the Samsung logo shows up. This will enter you into the recovery. Then install the zip file you placed on your SD Card. This will make sure all the permissions are set correctly. After that, you should be done!
The Modem included in the modem version is EC09, the EH09 modem is not used since it breaks data on the Fascinate.
This Odin file did not break data on my phone, but if it does on yours, please tell me ASAP!

FAQ:
Will the Odin file erase my data?
Yes! Please make a backup of data.
Is Voodoo available for this?
Not at the current moment. It will be soon, as the kernel source is out as of 9/1/2011.
What CWM Recoveries work with this ROM?
Most should work (from 2.5.1.x to 4.x.)
Why doesn't this use GO Launcher anymore?
I felt that GO Launcher had too many issues (such as after a factory reset). Personally, with this ROM, I wanted to keep the TouchWiz Launcher and modify it to start out with a clean layout.
Do Glitch and other MTD kernels work with this?
No.
MMS/Data doesn't work!
Try dialing *228 and do option 1.
Root/Busybox doesn't work!
Please refer to the installation directions in the Odin section. The zip file there should solve all your issues.
