Can't get LTE

Does anyone know why my S4 is not connecting to LTE even though I'm in the area I only get 4G. My friend xperia z1 gets LTE and he is on T-Mobile too. I have a 5-6 years old sim card trimmed to micro sim can that be the problem?

Try to force it.
Dial *#2263#
Select LTE/WCDMA

What Rom, what mods.? You may have a conflict with your buildprop that may be causing it.

I tried forcing it, official stock 4.4.2, wicked v10, cm 10, cm 11 still nothing. My s4 used to be m919n flash to m919 nb4.

Got a updated sim card problem solved
