Damn dude..you need to move outta Buffalo. Lol :rolleyes:

I know! XD Actually, that kilobytes per second, kBps, as opposed to the kbps which is kilobits per second. :) More data..so in an area where I would get oh say 150kBps on mt4g this is an insanely great upgrade from that. :D

It goes like this:

KB/s > Mbps > kbps.

Where do you live? I live right off of genesee. I'll do a conversion, my data speeds are about that. But I was in a slow area so I'll upload a better one tomorrow.

Also, even though it is wifi this is sick:

That isn't technically true =)

kbps = 1,000 bits
kB/s = 8,000 bits
Mbps = 1,000,000 bits

I am sure you just worded it differently =)

Thank you for the correction :)

This should be put in OP for understanding.

Drive on over to the town of Dover(it's kinda close by you just passed Rockaway)... they got a tmo 4g tower in the back of the town hall. My mother in law lives there and that is the fastest I ever saw on my Vibrant. Worth the drive for a screenie of some kick ass speeds. Might not be actual 42mbps but whatever. I can't wait to go back there and test the SGSII!

Here's a couple of mine from Chesapeake VA and Portsmouth VA. I'm very impressed!! :D

Just to compare. I did a speedtest at the same time this morning with my HTC Sensation 4G and the SGS2 was way faster! Check out the top 3 speedtests below from my Sensation and compare them with the time and date with the ones from my SGS2 pictured above.

    In case you were curious, here is a Nexus S on 3G vs. Galaxy S2 on 4G in Downtown San Francisco.

    UMTS is 384Kbps 3G. If you're getting higher than that, ignore it.

    Thanks heygrl

    I can get maximum around ~2500 kpbs, and my area is "supposed" 4G area. Is this normal? or i been throttle?
    It's normal for T-Mobile 21Mbps HSPA+ depending on network load and capacity. You probably aren't in a 42 area tho which is why you aren't seeing 7-8Mbps easily. Throttled speed is 60Kbps
