[ROM][JB][4.1.2] JellyBelly Omega-Total Customization [CM10]-{updated 2/2/13}[Final]

Welcome and thanks! Can't download at work, but plan to do so tonight.

Edit: Solid alpha. I got fc on browser and my home button didn't work. As I have no logcat and no one else posted these, it may just be me.

Edit 2: browser issue may be related to the wrong Gaaps I used... 4.2.1.

Thanks bilgerryan. A question though, is sound working OK? With jmz's cm10 we had to press volume up or down on boot for notifications to work correctly.

I haven't had any problems just using the toggles from the notification bar.

It's working great for me so far, the only thing I've run into is that Chrome won't load from the Play Store or TB, but no biggie for me. BT appears to be working, haven't tested GPS but those are two issues that have been lacking in other ROMs so thanks for the good build!

Unzip the ROM, go into /system/app then copy FancySense.apk onto your sd and install on ANY ROM.

It is modified from the free version of Fancy Widgets. (The bottom is cut off by some launchers) It's included in almost all my ROMs... Kinda my signature.

Chrome doesn't play nice with this ROM anyways, I wouldn't recommend using it.

I noticed they are from July 26th, so would it be better to grab the more recent 10/11/12 gapps for 4.1.x ROMs from http://goo.im/gapps? Or are the gapps in the OP specific to JellyBelly?

Play Store Issues - Device Not Compatible

The Play Store is telling me that a couple apps are not compatible with my device, such as Pulse News Reader and Google Play Music. These apps were running fine on Provision JB 4.1.2 which I've been using for almost a month.

When I flashed JellyBelly, I did a full wipe(Superwipe etc in Smelkus), partitioned and upgraded the SD to 1024MB of ext4, and flashed the ROM with gapps from the OP. After initial boot and setup I also flashed the dtapps zip from jmz's thread.

Is anyone having this issue or did I do something wrong?

It doesn't matter just don't use 4.2.1 gapps

Market Fix:
If you are having trouble DLing apps use this:
1. Go into terminal
2. Type -> su -> hit enter
3. Hit "Allow"
4. Type -> drmserver& -> hit enter
5. Reboot

Yes, always try this first... It would be good to memorize it because it works on all 4.0+ AOSP ROMs. On a side note, 76 DLs already.... A lot more EVO users left than Shift users. The Shift version has been up a couple weeks and is at 211. Thanks for using my ROM! Hope you guys are enjoying it.

Hats off to you for giving proper credit to Zep for his script.. you don't see that very often anymore. Hahaha.. this ROM looks fantastic, I don't own an Evo anymore, but have a couple ROMs floating around for this phone.

Anyways, good work on this.. and thank you for giving credit where it's due. If you ever need any help or have questions, feel free to PM me or comment in a thread of mine!! There are a LOT of helpful people in this forum (as you know), and I am always willing to lend a hand when needed. Just throwing that out there.

I did this in the terminal but didn't notice the last step of rebooting... *facepalm*
I'm going to reflash this and see if that fixes the issue.
