OK a better explanation would be to go to settings..under interface you will see paranoid settings..click on it.. you can get a better understanding of what it is...am not a good explanator:D.. secondly go into previous ROM open sytem ..apps...copy paranoid preferences. apk paste into the new update... open system/apps and just paste...
Or download paranoid ROM copy paprefs.apk and do the same thing....

Then reboot...you should be fine..

Don't know why...worked for me..I extracted from previous build..copied to system/app rebooted... then opened system/app and changed permission and rebooted again and there it was I checked and it works without fc...

I Downloaded modded gapps 4.2 and it fixed my keyboard issues (probably if I reflashed 4.1 it would have also fixed it)

how do you get the setting to allow the boot animation to stick. every time I unclick the disable bootanimation (to allow it) when i reboot it disables it again? IDK if this is the bootanimamation that is supposed to play but I like it.

Try this, it was extracted from previous build and packaged with App2zip for easy installation. Install using CWM or TWRP.

ParanoidPreferences-v3.5.zip

Update
Aroma installer with Option to install SuperSu-v0.98 the zip file was created with "FlashBackup" app by flash5000, this app is awesome.

I'm not having any problems with 11/05 build, so before I flash this new build, I would like to know what to expect. Are there any significant changes besides pa prefs?

This is a really great ROM, smooth, responsive with no lag after a couple days of use. I also really like the tweaks I can add or leave out with OC. But I'm having issues of sounding like I'm under water to the person on the other end of call. Which radio is recommended for Tempe, AZ area? Thanks 4 any help.

Have you made sure noise suppression is enabled? Should be in phone>settings and look similar to this.

    OP updated to PAC-man v19.0.0 Final release.

    Unfortunately my device has started to develop some hardware problems with the USB, it wont charge
    anymore or connect to my PC. Since my Bday its in two weeks, the wife has decided that she will buy me a
    new device instead of fixing this one so therefore i will not be able to test anymore builds. Its been a pleasure
    for me being part of this community and i hope that
    i will see some of you around XDA.

    OP updated, much needed change. This will be the official thread
    for PAC 4.2.2 and the upcoming PAC-4.3.

    With that said im bringing
    you guys an alpha build of 4.3 [For testing purposes]

    please flash at your own risk, make a backup, completely wipe + factory reset.

    then flash the build:

    pac_hercules_4.3-alpha.build.0_20130804-143546.zip - 184.16 MB
