Im using http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2641409
and the error I get is

/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/aboot: cannot open for read: Permission denied
Unable to open /data/local/tmp/aboot.img: No such file or directory

[+] loki_patch v2.1
[-] Failed to open /data/local/tmp/aboot.img for reading.

[+] loki_flash v2.1
[-] Failed to open aboot for reading.

Do you have 10a/b/c or 20a/b?

It really looks like you don't have root.

Permission denied, check you SuperSU/superser settings!!

Exactly..after typing in the su command, wake your tablet and allow root permission.

it is not supported for 4.4.2 kit kat that have 18a,20a,20b.


search in this thread for first installing TWRP, and follow the steps below in thread.

Ok I just rooted my tablet using towelroot

Yes, I am running 4.2.2.

I have already installed the drivers for LG on my laptop but still no luck

Running STOCK LG G Pad 4.4.2

If you still get an error, you need to edit the runme.bat and modify the device model with your number .. ONLY if you are on 4.4.2, stock.
