I am getting a bit annoyed that when using CM7.1 my phone loses connection to my wifi after a few hours and I have to turn wifi off and on again to get it working again. I have my wifi sleep policy set to never. My phone came with radio 32.49.00.32U_5.11.05.27. I decided to flash 32.56.00.32U_5.17.05.27 but it hasnt made a difference. I didnot flash a new RIL so I am still on HTC-RIL 1.6.1062G (dated 23 April 2010).
Any ideas what I should do? Should I flash a new RIL? What RIL/Radio combinations are people using successfully?
Thanks,
Womble

Any news on CM9 for Bravo?

It's in the back burner most probably. Like what the last update posted on cyanogenmod website.

Our goal is to provide continued support to all CM7 devices back to the QSD8250 series of devices such as the Nexus One. I don’t want to make any promises at this time, but that is the plan.

From the sound of it, Desire will get ICS last... that is if they can really make it work.

Hey!

I've installed cm 7.1, coming from MIUI. Really nice rom but I would like to have the Mms.apk from MIUI on it. Simply extract the .apk and install does not work!
Is there any way to get it running?

Is it really....very very important to S-OFF my Desire before flashing Cyanogen 7.2 RC1?
Because I've rooted the device long ago and I flashed a lot of ROMs, but none of them needed to S-OFF. I saw in a forum that before flashing I have to S-OFF, but in another forum did not mention anything about the S-OFF. So what now? If it is not necessary, I would rather not do the S-OFF procedure. Can anyone help me with that?

One more thing. If I do the S-OFF, will it influence the other ROMs I will flash in the future?

Installed 7.2.0 RC3 . looks and feels fast .

I am on 32.44.00.32U_5.09.05.30_2 and CM 7.2 rc3 , after some hours , the mobile data does not connect to internet .I have to reboot the phone , so that it can connect to internet .

Stock ROM with 32.44.00.32U_5.09.05.30_2 worked fine every time I connected to mobile data .

Anybody have similar issues with CM 7.2 Rc3 ?

OK ,update on the above issue . Mobile data does not connect to internet ,after a charge to the phone .This happens everytime I charge the phone .The phone does not connect to interenet , I have to reboot to have it connect to internet .

EDIT : Found a workaround . Flip the 2g/3g switch and flip it back and connect to internet . It works .This way I don't have to reboot everytime.

Hi, I have just noticed an issue with my Desire, running this ROM. When it's on vibrate mode, it does not vibrate when I receive a message. The LED still flashes green. However, it does vibrate when I get a call. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Go in messages, tap menu button, settings, notification settings and activate "vibrate in silent mod".

Hello, I have just added my language to the default keyboard. However, it seems to lack the dictionary it suggests no words. It only shows some of my contacts names. Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks.

Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk 2

edit: also, my headphones seem to disconnect every now and then and music playback stops. I dont think the headphones are faulty.

Hello everyone!
I've just installed this awesome ROM but I've a little problem.
When the phone is connected to a wifi network and I left it with the screen off after some time the connection drops and switches to 3g. When I power on the screen the connection switches again to the wifi.

Any idea?

    This is an AOSP-based build with extra contributions from many people which you can use without any type of Google applications. I found a link from some other project that can be used to restore the Google parts, which can be found below or elsewhere in the thread. I've still included the various hardware-specific code, which seems to be slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    Visit the CHANGELOG for a full list of changes and features!

    All source code is available at the CyanogenMod Github!

    INSTRUCTIONS:
    - First time flashing CM 7 to your Desire (or coming from another ROM)?
    1. Root your device and install Clockwork Recovery (Unrevoked method is recommended).
    2. Do a Nandroid backup!
    3. Update your radio! New radio from HTC 2.2+ roms is required (Desire Radio Thread).
    4. WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
    5. Install the ROM
    6. Optionally install the Google Addon

    - Upgrading from earlier CM6?
    1. Do a Nandroid Backup!
    2. Install the ROM (your Google apps will be backed up automatically)

    HOW TO REPORT BUGS OR PROBLEMS?
    - Was it a hard reboot? Go into recovery and dump the "/proc/last_kmsg" file.
    - Was it a soft reboot or a "boot loop"? Run "adb logcat" and get send the full output.
    - Pastebin links preferred
    - Please use the issue tracker whenever possible!

    This is the latest release candidate so any and all feedback is appreciated!

    After some angry time, found it my self :eek:

    system/etc/bluetooth/auto_pairing.conf :

    Sense/miui froyo roms (BT works):
    Code:
    // Blacklisting by Exact Name:
    ExactNameBlacklist=Motorola IHF1000,i.TechBlueBAND,X5 Stereo v1.3

    CM/miui GB roms (BT NOT work):
    Code:
    // Blacklisting by Exact Name:
    ExactNameBlacklist=Motorola IHF1000,i.TechBlueBAND,X5 Stereo v1.3[B],KML_CAN[/B]

    Changed the file like the sense one with root explorer and BT works! I'm fantastic! :D

    i'll recommend to open a issue for all bug and enhancements report

    Running perfectly smooth with latest 2.6.37.6 coutts cfs kernel. Best so far.
    upcoming 7.0.1 have 720p playback support, which require some kernel changes... don't blame cm if 720p playback will be broken using other kernel

    7.0.1 will also fixes the 2 notification bugs

    ps
    aosp do not support 720p playback on 8x50 (nexus one)
