Thanks for the heads up but I am watching you repo VERY CLOSELY.... so i know what to add in the manifest. i'll take the /system/core from your forked repo. Dont worry, i am great at kanging other peoples work :p:p:p

BTW, have you had a look at this???

Great! Simply amazing! Almost everything is working!
Just to know @OP, does everything related with HW (gpu) work? I mean, 3D and 2D, v-sync...

Vsync will need porting but we can get cm9 100% stable

Testing

What worked for me.

1) I could make calls
2) Send n receive texts
3) Camera fully working ( yes )
4) Sound ( Apollo didnt work, but ringtones did )
5) Data connection. Tried browsing and it was smooth.
6) USB storage

When I turned on the Volume rocker wake in settings,
the ROM froze. I lost response from display and all buttons.



CM9 is silky smooth. Can't wait for the fully working one.

@atis. Hope you plug the holes fast :p

There is no "best" ROM. It's a completely subjective thing. For some CM will be awesome, for others, one of the Sense-based ROMs or AOSP-like ROMs will be. It doesn't matter. Try them all, pick the one you like that suits your needs.

Also talking about 'best' ROMs goes against the spirit of XDA.

    Requirements:
    • Unlocked bootloader
    • CWM recovery installed


    Install:
    • Download the rom
    • Extract the boot.img
    • Copy the rom to your sdcard
    • Go to recovery and flash the rom
    • Wipe data
    • Reboot to bootloader/fastboot
    • Install boot.img with fastboot ---> fastboot flash boot boot.img
    • Reboot and enjoy!

    Yes, i know how to fix internal memory, i just was lasy to fix it. :D
    And now it's lapsed because i stopped the work on cm9. CM10.1 already booted and now i work on fixes for this. :)
