HOLY ****! Latest original APK works on Droid X2 (Verizon) Android 2.2.2, rooted. Any other version information I can give to help? I am now watching Dexter on my Droid X2!
Huh, I just thought that got past the device check. But whatta ya know, it got rid of the chipmunks too.

I have an Atrix on 4.1.83, stock rom, rooted (and webtopmod) and other than the green bar and colors, it works just fine.
Or was the video issue fixed using one of the roms?

finally got the new version to work on my hd2
i uninstalled the old version and the new version finally installed
and works perfect ..i did edit my build prop with the nexus one info
but dont know if that mattered or not

Using miui.. it was working since first release last night I was force to update to the new version which was OK because it still work. Even this morning I watched a couplevof things, but noe it gives me an error..can't connect to Netflix service please try again later....blablabla....any idea..also I just did the nexus one hack thinking it would help but no luck.
OK fund my answer..I'm only able to have 6 devices link to my Netflix account. It seems that when I flash the phone with a different rom it gets register on my Netflix account. So to solve my issue I deleted some of those devices

i tried the old ones and it let me log in on may 31st, but never got to watch anything. it started to load the movie then i got an error. then they must have updated to the new netflix app right after that since i got the update error.
tried the new one posted above and it force closes right away. anything i have to change/edit in the nightly build to get it to work? or is there a previous build where it works?

Tried the device check disabled version on my HTC Thunderbolt yesterday. It opens but then asks me to download the current version. I got past that with a trick using airplane mode given a few pages back, but when I tried to play something, it again asked me to download the newest version.
The first post lists the Archos 101 & 70 as only working when rooted, but I've got it working on both my 101 and my daughters 70. At first it was the no device check one that worked, then it started asking to update the app to work. So I installed the updated 1.21 and it's working again. I'm on the latest stock firmware and flash 10.2(70) and 10.3(101)

I'm on Optimus S with Sprint running Reborn Rom v2.1. I installed the "com.netflix.mediaclient-2.apk" which is the updated 1.2.1..
Initially after the install, I ran the app via 3G and ti would give the error message about network connectivity and date/time. Later that day, I ran the app again via wifi (i.e. comcast) and the app works!!!
However, there is the annoying green bar at the top of the screen, but still watchable. Today, I was able to run the app via 3G without any problems aside from the green bar.

11For those who had to modify their build.prop to get Netflix to work correctly, try using this apk file instead of modifying your build.prop. You may get a date and time error, just got back into the Netflix app and you should be OK. I've disabled the device check in the apk.
