Re: [MOD] Xperia T 14 statusbar toggles with settings

Please do not just write a post saying thanks, for us recognised contributes and developers it means more reading and time spent looking at threads with unread posts. It is enough to just hit the thanks button if you want to say thanks, if you are on the mobile app, long press on the post and hit thanks

How do I customise the signature on xda premium app?

Re: [MOD] Xperia T 14 statusbar toggles with settings

I have 90% ready. PhoneStatusBar.smali is different in JB. I need to figure out, how to implement the view of the panel there.
Tomorrow.

Re: [MOD] Xperia T 14 statusbar toggles with settings

This is harder than I thought. I will need more time.
I have some kind of alpha version. Buttons are online, but JB is more secured, and SystemUI manifest is missing permissions. (sync, network, gps,...)
Manifest cannot be edited without resigning and resigning means that SystemUI won't install. :-\

Re: [MOD] Xperia T 14 statusbar toggles with settings

Maybe I could, but I need some idea, how to allow permissions for sync, network, gps, camera, reboot. These buttons are not working. For now, it seems to me that whole stock rom would have to be resigned.
Or any better idea?

Here is the alpha version - http://d-h.st/mb9

No solution for those permissions yet. You can use most of the toggles, but some of them causes force closes of SystemUI.

Thanks "wanam" for the PhoneStatusBar.smali how-to in his GS3 thread.

Re: [MOD] Xperia T 14 statusbar toggles with settings

Looking good but I do see a lot of fc's indeed. In the quickpanel settings all boxes are ticked, even for buttons that aren't there? It keeps fc'ing till you unstuck the non-existent buttons.
But again, looking good for alpha. Hope you can get the rest sorted somehow.

Re: [MOD] Xperia T 14 statusbar toggles with settings

I will try, if I can resign all JB system apps and if the rom will be working. Don't know about other solution.
SystemUI is not sharing system uid anymore.

    Hi,

I have added my own take to this by changing the icons and updating to a compatable JB version

I know this image is from the ICS version but it shows the mod on JB as well

Use the AdvanceS app found in the app draer to change the order of the buttons and which ones to show.

    The download link is here

    XperiaT_JB_NotificationWidget-gregbradley-v1.zip - 2.99 MB

Credit to peetr_ for the original port, all i have done is change a few icons.

I did some modifications, thanks to peetr_, gregbradley and TiMiN8R's great work. Credit goes to them, I just changed the icons and modded some of them :highfive:

(must have the other two flashed before doing any of the following)
(REMEMBER to do a backup before doing this, just in case anything goes wrong)
Same instructions, just flash any of the following on top of the two

The screen shot one has Sony's Icons with Google Navi Keys:
    MODJB_googlebuttons_sonybluetoogles_blackbg.zip (3.26 MB)

Original white Icons from peetr_ with Google Navi Keys:
    MOD_JB_lidroid_widget_reduced_size_back_button_googlebuttons_whitetoggles.zip (3.11 MB)

Blue Icons from Gregbradley with Google Navi Keys:
    MOD_JB_lidroid_widget_reduced_size_back_button_googlebuttons_bluetoogles.zip (3.19 MB)

Again, thanks the devs for their hardwork :D

    Thanks for doing that.

I think I have managed to get it all into one zip though.

If someone could test this for me I would be gratefull. It should give you my icons and reduced buttons. Cheers
