AOSP Extended is an AOSP based rom which provides stock UI/UX with various customisations features along with the Substratum theme engine. The project has been made by cherry-picking various commits from various other projects. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth and lag-free experience out of the box. I guess there is nothing wrong in reading facts!

-Base Of the ROM & Version?
->Rom is based on AOSP

-Why no "Incremental updates" Support?
->Actually the updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuffs are merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend clean flash.

-Does this ROM Support Substratum/CMTE?
->Yes, full Substratum support!

-Which Gapps are recommended?
->OpenGapps or
->BeansGApps

-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
->No.

-What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED For N is not out yet. Still in development. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have xposed uninstalled.

-When Will Be the Next Update?
->No ETAs please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready. We generally provide monthly updates with latest security patches and new features.

-I am facing FCs, Bugs, Some feature is broken?
->Provide full info about your problem with logcats and the procedure to reproduce it.

Rom is perfect and running fast and smooth, but there is a one bug that is when we take photos using flashlight the camera (photo & flashlight) freezes, and which causes we need to restart the phone, hope it will be fixed, thanks for the ROM

2 bug for this rom

1. Sd card cant set to internal,if you set to internal your sd card corrupted.
2. Cant take picture with automatic flashlight,if you try to take picture,camera and flashlight freeze

Yes I experienced the same but u can fix the first one.
First wipe this ROM and install another ROM (eg:lineage)
Now in that go to settings and format sdcard as internal storage
And now go-to recovery, wipe (system, cache, dalvick, internal storage) do not wipe sdcard, now install this ROM ( AOSP EXTENDED) and after installation u can see that sdcard was already inserted as an internal storage.:good:

I have used full stock blobs and exactly every stock inits in ramdisk... but due to this LED path is still not being detected correctly.
I have to test out other path to LED either from generic devices or from similar chipset device like Lenovo K3 Note!

You have to use different Camera app as I mentioned in OP :)
Use Camu app, I have been able to fix this issue in AOSP's Camera2 app but same workaround didn't work on AEX's SnapdragonCamera app

    I guess there is nothing wrong in reading facts!

    -Base Of the ROM & Version?
    ->Rom is based on AOSP

    -Why no "Incremental updates" Support?
    ->Actually the updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuffs are merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend clean flash.

    -Does this ROM Support Substratum/CMTE?
    ->Yes, full Substratum support!

    -Which Gapps are recommended?
    ->OpenGapps or
    ->BeansGApps

    -Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
    ->No.

    -What about XPOSED?
    ->XPOSED For N is not out yet. Still in development. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have xposed uninstalled.

    -When Will Be the Next Update?
    ->No ETAs please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready. We generally provide monthly updates with latest security patches and new features.

    -I am facing FCs, Bugs, Some feature is broken?
    ->Provide full info about your problem with logcats and the procedure to reproduce it.

    Releasing AEX Final Nougat build

    Finally, it's time to end AospExtended Nougat's legacy with V4.6. Expect it to be continued O onwards. :)

    Edit: For Gesture support use appropriate kernel. Currently Devil Kernel (by Aryan Kedare) got Gesture support, I might be adding to Daredevil-S. Don't post regarding Gestures not working as the kernel included in the ROM is stock with 0-feature addition.

    AospExtended V4.2 released

    So, today after latest commits being pushed to AospExtended Git. I just cooked a new build of AospExtended V4.2 for our Lenovo A7000-a! :eek:
    Been testing the build for a while, it seems pretty fine to be released.

    Keeping the crap away. It's clear that Lenovo won't release a single update as the device has crossed it's 2 year tenure.
    Don't expect VoLTE support as the OEMs are neither alotted to share modem source codes nor mediatek would release them, unless they are leaked.

    VoLTE requires modem support, more over even if make VoLTE supported modem we won't achieve a proper support of VoLTE on custom ROMs as MTK uses different approach for IMS.

    P.S. Sorry I have been away for a while. It has been already 4 days since release of AEX-4.4. I have gone through a great loss :rolleyes: "My Laptop", so please wait till I recover my stuff and I will release the build in few days. I have already built the ROM but it's crashing on boot. Something related ART has been modified in AEX which I am figuring it out and will release after it is fixed with recent device-specific changes I have shared on other builds.
