Never flash a custom kernel over another custom kernel. Go back to stock first by flashing the boot.img. Fewer problems in the long run.
With Oreo the kernel touch system partition so you have to flash the rom , dirty flash.Never flash a custom kernel over another custom kernel. Go back to stock first by flashing the boot.img. Fewer problems in the long run.
All good here
Hmm, what do you mean? I can change the display brightness just fine.
If I didnt read wrong, fk will be available for custom roms right?
Let me try to explain. First I dirty flashed beta 2, set brightness to max and than installed your kernel. After boot was completed brightness slider was still to max, but brightness itself was around 25%. When I move slider to min it changes with the delay of 2 seconds. Than when I'm moving slider to about 25% it changes brightness, but moving above 25% brightness doesn't change. It doesn't matter if it's on 25% or 100% brightness always stays around 25%. Same problem was also with initial release of flash kernel and ElementalX. If I flash any other kernel than there is no more problem with brightness. Also the option in app "Lower max brightness" is disabled. I hope that I managed to explain what is happening with brightness, well at least on my phone .
Always flash magisk first then kernelI dirty flashed ob2 since I was on a different kernel. Rebooted back into twrp.
flashed francokernel, then flashed magisk. booted into system
