Sad seems that pinpong doesn't know how to solve it too.
No problem. Back to stock :rolleyes:

Really love this kernel, nice job you did here mate, althou i wouldnt mind you switching back to regular CPU steps.
For some reason version 2.24 froze on me once or twice(probably my aggresive UV) but version 2.21 handles it just right so im back on 2.21...

You have to use the force young padawan :p haah i joke... I dunno what rom you're on but you can either turn it off completely in Device Settings> Sensors> Enable Keys backlight..... OR
go into sys/ class/ misc/ backlightnotification/ led_timeout and change the value to something less than 1.5 seconds (1500)
Hopefully this is what you're looking for?

My friend I am on hydrogen rom. I tried to edit bln with root explorer.but when I go to back light notification. Root explorer freezes and stop. I just can't get another further step.please help

O dear. I installed this kernel and I think it killed my phone slightly. I still see the phone starting up with the Samsung Logo, but after that the screen remains black. There is some lighting up on the back button and menu button when I push them, but nothing on the screen. Can't get into CWM mode either. Nothing will show up. I understand that showing nothing is a great way to save battery, but it wasn't quite what I expected. :p

Hope I can somehow recover my phone, guess I'll have to resort to Odin.

With what rom you flashed that kernel?

@Pinpong
After setting a different time out for the led_timeout, the value resets upon Reboot, is there any way to change this?
