NEW VERSION ON 2ND POST WITH NEW KERNEL

This is my latest MOD/ROM based on Froyo with CM6

and based on my previous one (check HERE if didn`t know that one yet).

If you`re on baseband .49 or .52 please install THIS patch (right after flash rom without reboot);
If you`re on recent ones .5x just go ahead.

INSTRUCTIONS
YOU MUST FOLLOW ALL STEPS TO EVERYTHING WORK AS IT SHOULD!!!

- Make a backup (if you want to);
- Factory Reset (Full Wipe);
- Wipe cache partition;
- Wipe Dalvik Cache (Advanced options > Wipe Dalvik Cache);
- Install [MOD/ROM)scamble_v01[CM6.1.3].zip;
- Reboot;
- Let him reboot one more time and you`re donne;
- Go to Settings > CyanogenMod Settings > User interface > Tweaks extras > Select a theme > scamble;
- Press Menu > More > ADWSettings > Backup & Restore > Restore ADW Settings & Desktop (then make your own changes);
- Go to GScript Lite > Menu > Add Script > Load File > add-on_installer > Save > Run;
- Repeat the same process but instead of add-on_installer, choose reboot_recovery;
- Donne. Enjoy

DOWNLOADS

[MOD/ROM]scamble_v01.3[CM6.1.3] - This is a new version witch work ONLY with .52 baseband. By flashing this you won`t need anything else except the kernel files below.

BASEBAND 52 - Extract, run bat file and wait.

test-kernel - This will install the new kernel launched by zdzihu and moded by TripNRaVeR

back-to-stock kernel - This will bring you back to custom kernel.

HOW-TO

1. Factory Reset (Full Wipe);
2. Wipe cache partition;
3. Wipe Dalvik Cache (Advanced options > Wipe Dalvik Cache);
4. Install [MOD/ROM]scamble_v01.3[CM6.1.3].zip;
5. Reboot and let your phone catch gms signal;
---install kernel---
6. Enter xRecovery;
7. Flash test-kernel.zip file;
8. Reboot

KNOWN BUGS
- GPS doesn`t start;
- Apps2SD.

PATCHES/FIXES

After receive lot of PM`s requesting some hack to improve sdcard connection here it is, plus working auto-brightness and life contacts.

- install this ONLY AFTER your phone reboot and catch gsm signal ... ... ohhh and you`re right ... ... Wolf`s credit for this

if I flash this rom is there a way to change the icons back to normal so they don't have that glossy background? I dont like how some icons will have that look and third party icons from the market wont.

edit25: I am not finding the scamble theme to select?
I wiped my Sd card and followed steps perfectly up to this step.

Rendeiro or anybody else running his new ROM at the moment, is this better than his old CM Gingerbread 2.2 or the same and do u get better scores?

I love the one i am on now, but always looking for better, especially from him. Rendeiros ROMS r always my favorite

Theres no scramble option there. Looked in the sdcard to see if it was in /CMTHEME
and its not there. can you upload the file please cause its not in your .zip file I think.

Well.. I can officialy say that this is my new Daily Rom.

I havn't discovered any bugs in it yet. So will update and post any as they come.

I am sad to say that I did convert over to the HTC Inspire 4G but I moved this phone over for my work phone

.. So now I got to kick ass phones to carrie around. Still HATE at&t.

I use bb 58, then this ROM can't have any signal. Any help?

I cannot change the CM theme to Gingerbread no matter how many times I reboot and that's pretty annoying.

EDIT: it was my bad, I forgot to flash the xRecovery part of my theme but still, couldn't find a way to change the default ROM font

The ROM seems pretty solid, will test and report back in a few days.

Go to Dev Tools > Bad Behavior > Crash System Server and let it reboot..

I think I found a bug with the battery mod.

It says I was at 20% but I had 23% exact. Does this circle mod not have an accurate battery reading?
