T-mobile released a new OTA today. You can download it from here http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/. Excited to see the new Roms built based on this

Yep, just got a notification about this on my phone and posted about it on OMG!Droid. From what I am hearing it's an incremental update and includes brightness slider.

To which part flashing the update via kies or flashing the deodexed version

using kies, i used kies air on phone but are you using it to update?

As far as it goes kies is the easiest to use if u dont like to root or flash custom roms and when it comes to that u goto the samsung website and download kies and the usb drivers for your phone and install them both on ur computer

I had my device rooted, but then unrooted for certain reasons. If I want to update this without root, do I just download the zip file from the website, go into stock recovery mode and flash from there?

If you're completely stock right now, use Kies.. download it from http://www.samsung.com/us/kies/ Once you plug your phone in, you'll be prompted to update.
