Connction fails

An excellent app but I keep getting this error message when attempting to play a YouTube file from a search page:
NETWORK NOT AVAILABLE (FFFFFFW8)
No problem with the internet connection; and no problem in performing the YouTube search.
Will appreciate your help.

Well, let's say, expand the range of adult sites!
Thank you!;)

Lol that said add in eskimotube.com (requested this a month or 2 ago)

Also as the versions get higher and better, I'm still seeing the following bug being carried over.

The thumbnails don't always show up, Sometimes mayb 2 or 3? Other times 5 or 10? And the rest are black square boxes. Going back and search again doesn't fix this issue.

Is the problem with xhamster? I have noticed this before in mVu, but if you go to the actual site, some of the thumbnails are missing there too.

Hi I'm running windows CE 6.0 (R3 I think) AFAIK my .NET is fine, but when I try to run the latest version down to "mVu Mobile Viewer - 1.0.4.44 - Feb. 17, 2011" I get "Error mvu.exe TypeLoadException at mvu.Program.Main()"

mVu Mobile Viewer - 1.0.4.44 - Feb. 17, 2011 works and searches fine, but when I try to play the video I get the 404 error message :/

I've been trying for a very long time to get youtube to play decently on my little tablet and the only way it's played at all is through skyfire which looks like utter crap and runs very slowly :(

Anyway, if there's any way I could get it to work I'd be quite happy about it :) even if that older version was changed to use URLs out of an ini file instead of whatever is in the .exe it would work (unless I'm missing something?)
Thanks, it's nice to see someone updating programs for a relatively obscure OS like WM/CE :D

Just to clarify, which version gives you the exception and which version gives the 404 error?

    Thanks for the reply bik2000,

The application installs fine using the uncompressed CAB but when I open it it says "This application (mVu.exe) requires a newer version of the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework than the version installed on this device."

When I download the NETCFv35.Messages.EN.wm.cab it says its not a valid Windows CE setup file. So thats why I can't get it to work. Please can you help me?

I'm using a HP Ipaq hx2000 Intel PXA270 running Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition.

    Thanks

You need to install .NET Compact 3.5 Redistributable before you install the Messages cab you mentioned above.

You can get it from Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...49-3c6b-42f1-9fd9-0041345b3385&displaylang=en

    New Version - mVu - 1.0.10.9

I have just posted a new version (1.0.10.9).

This version has the following changes:
    • Fixed Pornhub
    • Removed Tnaflix

Tube8 seems to be working again without any changes. I removed Tnaflix because the site now requires login to download videos.

You can download the latest version at http://bik2000.appspot.com.

    New mVu Website

In preparation of the next release of mVu, I've also created a new website for mVu.

You can find the new site at http://bik2000.appspot.com.

I've already got some screenshots of the updated UI layout on there, as well as a list of some of the new features that you can expect in the next version.
