My advice flash over to RLV7 and take the lockscreen apk from RLV5 and install it. that way you'll have all the 3.0 goodness except for the lockscreen.
usb tether bugs where in 5 and 6.
Will the 2.1 incoming call lockscreen work? Or will I have to unlock it to see who's calling me?

I like RVL7 but I can't get my 3g to work on that rom. RVL8 is too laggy last time I flashed it.
If you try some of the 8 nightlys you may find one that works better. Some where not included because of other bugs. E.g. no HTC widgets in add widgets but there was/is the browse HTC widgets.
I'm still running rlv5. How would I change the boot animation to the HTC thunderbolt boot animation??

I am still running Sinister Rom RLV7 as my daily since the day it came out. It is super stable & fast, I absolutely love it and even donated. ..skipped RLV8 due to some issues but can't wait to see hopefully version 9 and what its got in store for us. Thank you very much.

This Rom is a tad bit old, none the less I assure it'll be the best sense experience for you on the OG EVO. this Rom may be revisited, depends if the user base builds back up
