[ROM][MIUI-2.3.7][AdyScorpiusMIUI][03-APR-12][MARKET FIXED] - Dark, Smooth & Crisp


So after alot of thinking that there are already so many MIUI's tweaked and hacked and maxed out, why would someone really want another one, I thought, since I'm making it for myself, why not release it to the community too.

Note, this ROM might not be updated much frequently, but its built to be a solid stable release. You will be provided support for this in the near future...

Here's my latest release of MIUI-GB v2.4.3, with the following mods/tweaks/changes...

-Based on Latest MIUI-GB Release
-Siyah Kernel v2.6.14 included (Thanks GokhanMoral)
-Includes Touch Recovery by GokhanMoral
-Tron themed (Mix of alot of themes together, all credits to respective makers)
-4-Way Reboot Added
-MIUI Extended Settings added (Change SystemUI layout, Clock Hide AM/PM etc.)
-Build.Prop tweaked for Network/Net Speed tweaks
-Ringtone repeats by default (Thanks Galnet for mentioning)
-HW Acceleration
-USB Debugging Notification turned off from Notification bar
-JPEG Quality maxed to 100%
-Proximity Sensor tweaked for more responsiveness
-Increased scrolling speed
-Added ThunderBolt Tweaks including Siyah Battery mods (Thanks pikachu01)
-Included zipalign on boot,
-Increased Touch Responsiveness
-Wipes Media cache & thumbnails on install, should fix media drain after half an hour of installation (Please allow the first half an hour, depending on your number of images)
-SmoothScroll Cache Fixed
-Latest Google Play Store v3.5.15

INSTALLATION STEPS

1. Copy Zip to SDCard.
2. Reboot to Recovery.
3. Wipe data/factory Reset.
4. Wipe /system from Mounts and Storage.
5. Install AdyScorpiusMIUI zip from SDCard.
6. Reboot (First boot may take time due to alot of init.d scripting)

7. Let it settle for 10 minutes before rebooting. (Some system apps might not appear on first boot, but will appear after first reboot)

8. Restore your apps using MIUI Backup/Titanium Backup/Market.
9. Login to your Google Account and allow sync.
10. Reboot once more..!! Enjoy the beauty...

MARKET Fix by Fluxi

1. Existing users:
- Go to Manage Applications in Settings > All > Google Services Framework > Clear Data
- Market > Clear Data
- Reboot to Recovery
- Flash Fluxi AOSP Patch.
- Reboot and you should be good.

2. New Users
- Flash Fluxi AOSP Market Patch right after flashing the ROM.
- Concept: The patch needs to be installed before the Google Account is set up. If you do that, Market works perfectly well.

Any Market after 3.3.11 will not work with AOSP-GB ROMs. This is the only fix that seems to work for now. Will keep you updated about later ones.

MARKET HotFix

A friend told me he's facing issues with the Market. Turns out its a previous version v3.0 which is why it didn't function well for him. Here's a hot fix of Market v3.4.4 Multi DPI supported, for all those who face this issue!
