But it does NOT say to which FW it will upgrade.
It just says "Firmware Upgrade Notification" and a bunch of warnings about data loss.

Can't I see which new FW is available anymore?
Or can I just click Upgrade and another screen with FW information and further confirmation will pop up?

Thanks,
Paulo

Solved....
Had the guts to click "Upgrade" and another screen pops with further confirmation.

Now I'm totally confused.
It offered me to upgrade to JM2.
I thought that JM2 was a test release, isn't it????

I thought that official versions always followed the pattern JF, JG, JH.... but never JM or JP.

Can someone give some light?

Thanks

Can confirm that Froyo (2.2) is available here in Denmark through Kies. Upgrade went without problems.

Hopefully this will fix issues with connecting to certain wifi routers...

Android Market also missing here in Denmark. AppBrain App Market reports that Market is not installed. I hope they fix this soon :/

Market will return if you do a Factory Reset of the phone.

Beware that all apps and settings will be wiped too. If you want to backup Data+Apps first, MyBackup Pro is a good choice.

Not taking any chances i also backed up Photos/Videos/Music just in case something went wrong.

So the procedure for upgrading to Froyo (2.2) should look something like this:

1. Backup Apps + Settings (optional)
2. Backup Photos/Videos/Music (optional)
3. Upgrade firmware using Kies.
4. Restore Market by doing a Factory Reset.
5. Restore data (optional)

Enjoy the new firmware :)

Market also missing for me in Norway :(
Is it possible for someone who has done a wipe to extract their market APK (if there's such a thing) for the rest of us to install? I'd really prefer not to have to wipe.

To upgrade the phone to Froyo (2.2) i am using Kies 1.5.1.10074_45

And as far as i know it is not possible to bring back the Market app, without doing a Factory Reset. Maybe if you rooted the phone you could achieve this ?
