Installation Hangs

When I hit volume down to upgrade it says...ext2fs_check_if_mount: no such file or directory while determining wether /dev/block/mmcblkop2 is mounted.

It then just sits there. Worked fine with older rootfs versions. Any ideas?

Are you using:

rootfs-2010-01-06a
zImage-14-01-10

Included in the zip?

I've seen this before when it's upgrading the ext2 partition from the sqsh. It just takes awhile to unpack (This sqsh unpacked to ext2 is 156mb). Give it a bit and see if it continues.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Yes I used those files. I used an old rootfs to install then replaced it with the new one. Is that ok or will that create problems down the road. The old rootfs only took 5 seconds to unpack the .sqsh file.

Shouldn't be a problem. I'd just double check the GPS confirming it works correctly.

Do you recall what version of rootfs you used to originally install? Just curious?

I just confirmed it. That error message you are receiving is inherit to the newer rootfs. I believe this is just a verbose error message which occurs everytime on every rom I have tried. I have always ignored it.

Just loaded it up

Just loaded it up....haven't put all my apps/customizations on it yet...but this does appear to be QUITE snappy! BTW I'm using a Kaiser. Sorry to be posting the Vogue forums, but I'm a big Donut fan =)

Just tried this build. It looks cool, but I really need to see the time in the notification bar. Do you think you could modify the theme a bit to show time and date on the n.bar?

Build worked well besides that, no other complaints!
