FYI, the update is now being pushed out for almost all Canadian One S variants; the only exception is TELUS.

I can confirm, I tried with the RUU 3.16.401.8.

Here is the OTA: OTA_Ville_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_3.16.401.10-3.16.401.8_R_release_368742ghp388l47y0w34q3.zip 14.8 MB


I don't understand, the radio from 3.16.401.9 is not included in this OTA.

I was very surprised to see the update coming to my HTC One S. Got it from over the air on school. No problems.

I got the update myself, but like other users, have my phone with S-Off and unable to install the update. I've tried the small patch on the first page with no problems, but I want to install the official update through TWRP. I do not know if the instructions over at http://sadevil.org/blog/2012/12/23/manually-flashing-an-ota-update/ would refer to the heartbleed virus update or not? Or is it possible for someone to edit the file nessisary in the official updates for rooted and unlocked users?

OTA update

i am facing this problem i have downloaded the rogers\fido ota update but can not install it every time i try to install it opens twrp and then i get an error saying unsuccessful ? so i cant install it, is it even worth installing ?

Hello is there any way to stop the nagging updates?
I gave my phone to a friend to travel in the US with and he is getting tired of this and needs a quick fix. Even something with the help of a PC would be a fine as long as it is relatively simple.
