[TUTORIAL][HOW TO] Get ICS on every I9100G [I9100GXXLPQ_I9100GODDLP7_INU]

Just download it

1. Download the File

2. Unrar it

3. Put in to PDA in Odin v1.85

4. Go into Recovery ( Home+Power+Up)

5.Do a Factory Reset and Wipe Cache

6. Put your Batterie out of the Phone. Put in Back in and
Put your phone in Download Mode (Home+Power+Down)

7.. Put the MD5 I9100GXXLPQ_I9100GODDLP7_INU in PDA at Odin

8. Connect the Phone to your Computer

9. Klick Start

10. Wait until Odin finished and unplugg your phone

FINISHED!!!
Youre now Running ICS 4.0.3 on I9100G

doctordsingh, try upgrading via Kies if you are in India. It's easier that way!
That is if you don't want to root your phone.

up here in india,it worked,just extracted zip file then via odin flashed the .md5 file through pda

Will my phone remain rooted??

Hi All, I have a phone got in China and with great difficulty got it to run google play etc. ( i am a novice in this) I now have Superatoms V3.3 running.
If I update it to ICS thro ODIN.. will my phone still be rooted ? Or do i have to root it again ? ( Sorry if its a stupid question !!)

There is no Pit file needed just put the md5 under pda.

1.Is there anything different I need to do to update a rooted phone ?
2.Can I use the same procedure/superatom file to root it back again ?

1. The way you get youre phone rooted is the same. 2. Youcant flash your old file to root it. I post a Thread under this. A tutorial that shows how to root 4.0.3

I Have installed the Room and it works. But when I opened the Task manager, I found that the Ram is just 687 Mb not 1Go. Do you have any idea about that problem?

RAM

There is no problem mir rom. You havent got so much Ram because ICS needs more space the 2.3.6 . So it is right

There isnt so much Ram because ICS is faster and very stable. And the Multitasking is great, so dont worry about that.
