It's a semi baked MIUI based on v20b. The SystemUI (MIUISystemUI) uses the format of MIUI.
Example of this is the battery display. There is a
raw folder in it and uses only
3 images for battery. They go something like this and the system handles the calculation.
Only MIUI uses this kinds, not LG nor CM7... This is a
single image for battery percentage (if MIUI based on CM7 you can choose percentage). LG and a modified CM7 will have 100 PNG's to show this kind of battery via framework-res.apk.
Now tell me if it's a themed v20b or almost MIUI...
This is the exact image I used for the ECHELON THEME. Difference? I cut them one by one to make 100 .PNG's and slap them in framework-res that will show 1% percentage.
the one in the link you posted is an odexed rom, this one has some tweaks (maybe that's why wifi does'nt work), some other addons, is deodexed and has a custom kernel.
The origal source (MOD) 0.1_Beta is already deodexed. Infact you can make a flashable zip with the modified apk's and .jar's inside to attain the MOD on any deodexed v20b. Only Lezo (orig) is odexed.
As for the non-working wifi... It might have come from the
wireless.ko of Diana Kernel. If you use Diana kernel, you should use the wireless.ko that goes with it, else
wi-fi will error.
