Ha! Thanks but I specifically posted in here instead because I wasn't sure if Hogwarts had made any changes to that script in the Cola rom. I suppose I should have just asked that instead...or, you know, checked for myself lol.

To be more clear, I meant the 99SuperCharger file which can be modified, rather than the v6supercharger script itself which (betraying my noobism) I now see that the dev doesn't want to be modified. Anyway I'll see what the included file looks like compared to what the script generates, thanks!

Update: Got it taken care of. Looks like this Hogwarts had applied the Balance v3 mode for this ROM.

So...
when the update comes out on tuesday
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?p=25358546#post25358546
are you planning on updating the ROM?
pry only still GB (hopefully 2.3.5+) Edit: it's 2.3.4
or are you going to take time, wait for your play to be fixed and then explode our minds with awesomesauce?

oh and like someone else said I would love like a hot reboot option in the power options dialogue menu (not a major issue if you don't add it though)

also I can't seem to get flash to work... (what do I need to re-install? anybody have flash working?) but otherwise I love this

Yes no problem with flash. Maybe try to reinstall? With what browser?

Sent from my R800x using XDA

I was using dolphin mini

I'm not using cola right now but I did try uninstalling and reinstalling flash and dolphin mini

right now I'm updating to 2.3.4 which is actually pretty simple and straight forward since somehow OTA doesn't even break root

http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1621431 in case anyone's interested
not sure how 2.3.3 cola will respond though
I'm real tempted by the possibility of http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1507280

although cola really is a great ROM (given the circumstances [BL looked w/o great module support]) and I really appreciate it

Oh my lord, you saved my Xperia Play Blues. It would run so slow, I got tired of using it. Backed up everything, flashed this ROM and now the next 2 years I'm stuck with this will be enjoyable now I have no lag.

I'm here. I didn't fall off the face of the earth as some people thought.

Although my phone is still broken.

jgregoryj1 @ XDA was supposed to be sending me a replacement part to fix my phone out of a spare he bought.

Now I don't feel entitled for someone to send me parts they paid for out of their hard earned pocket. but he told me he would send them and then bailed out.

I'm going to post a video soon to show whats wrong with my phone.

Anyways the LCD is going out on it and I don't even know when I'll be able to use it properly.

It's related to the dog biting it earlier on this year.

On second thoughts. I think I'm just going to list my R800X white modded up on Ebay for sale.

The reason is because I can't afford 70$ + shipping for the LCD unit and Digitizer.

I could probably get atleast 60$ for my working motherboard and all the other parts.

If anyone is interested in buying my R800X + lots of parts let me know.

I will put all the stuff up on ebay soon today.

sad day indeed:(

I'd love to help but I can't really

Maybe when I upgrade (sometime february to june), if you want, I could send you mine
(no promises this far out though)

Your work is just awesome...

hopefully you'll still contribute to some phone's forum at XDA;)

That would be awesome. I decided to keep the R800X for parts.

IF i get a donator phone. MAYBE I can resurrect my original baby.

You must be doing something wrong. Try flashing FTF 2.3.3(stock firmware), or if u created a nandroid back up, restore it, and try again. If u flash back to stock, u will have to re-root,CWM INSTALL, and then this rom. I have locked BL and haven't had any trouble.

His problem is that he is using a 2.3.4 kernel on a 2.3.3 ROM.

Only flashing the 2.3.3 kernel in flashtool should fix his problems

Ah. Yep. I didn't see or he didn't say he had 2.3.4. That would create a prob.

This rom is just Verizon firmware debloated with some tweaks. The Verizon firmware had a little better ram management because Verizon didn't give users any splash of excitement in the firmware. You can create this for GSM users on your device with root explorer alone. Just flash stock firmware, strip it down to nothing besides the extreme bare essentials and good to go.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I might be getting a new motherboard soon.

A kind member has PM'd me and told me that they have a spare R800X board I could use for development.

    I'll keep you guys posted.

I've been sick recently so I've not been online.
Had a very bad virus and was running a fever.

Thankfully I am recovering and if I get this new board. Can continue development.

The cola rom is special ;). Did you check the internal space in this is rom? 330mb free internal space. More internal memory than most xperia play roms. I tried replicating cola on a stock 2.3.4. Debloating stock myself and the highest internal memory I got is 285. A big difference in my book. :/

Sent from my R800x using xda premium

330mb is nothing....Internal space can be made 376mb with the dalvik to cachemod ... ;)

After debloating you should have wiped /cache and /dalvikcache partitions and you will have 330mb free (and then 376mb after applying the dalvik mod)

Edit : the pictures were of the kernel build number, its mostly the same except for what is believed to be a difference in the ramdisk, so the 2.3.4 kernel will work on Cola :)
(I'm not 100% certain about wifi though)

I've been on holiday recently but I just wanted to let everyone know that soon I hope to be continuing new development on this project for GSM phones and other people.

I will be unlocking my boot loader as soon as possible to be able to make GSM development possible and will keep this update to all my loyal followers.

Thanks for the good feedbacks guys. I am working on it hard.
