What's your device, version of Android, what settings you use for recording? Also, does the app crashes when you receive an update message?Alex, when the app detects that there is a newer version available for download, a notification in blue appears. No call is recorded. Only after the update, the recorder works. Any fix for that?
What recording method do you use? It might happen if you use root method and another app (e.g. OK Google) tries to record. Try standard api insteadI searched the thread but came up empty: has anyone experienced garbled recordings? When playing back it starts fine but after some time the same couple of seconds seem to repeat...
We will know when Samsung gets Android 10Samsung system recorder will still work with the call recorder on Android 10 without root correct?

You should use root method unless standard api doesn't work.Using root indeed (OP6/Pie), but no other app is trying to record, at least not that I know of. I will try the standard API, but I thought that we do need root?
Everything is possible, but I doubt it's the reason.
Use standard api. But if it doesn't work, only then try root method.Sorry - should I use root or shouldn't I use root "unless standard API doesn't work"?
SGS10+ Unlocked version snapdragon. I use the default settings. When I open the app to view the recorded calls, they are missing and the blue notification message is displayed. The app doesn't crash. It just halts any new recording from the time an update is available. What's your device, version of Android, what settings you use for recording? Next time I'll report the timestamp of the last call recorded and last call not recorded. You can verify whether you pushed the update between those timestamps. No crash, I just go looking for the recorded call and it's not there. The message for app update appears in blue and after I update it the recording works fine. I have the latest Samsung update on Aug 14 for Android ver 9
Hi, if I update from the notification I recieve when there's an update without checking the changelog first, changelog disappears from the app. I couldn't find any option within the app to read the changelog again except by coming here. Can you add a permanent menu item to redirect to latest changelog or something?Yes, if you have version 3.1.3 installed, then you'll see the changelog instead of "Update available" when I publish a new version.
I absolutely agree. An easy to read changelog is necessary. I always update with fear for something breaking the app. With a changelog we can decide to update or not.Hi, if I update from the notification I recieve when there's an update without checking the changelog first, changelog disappears from the app. I couldn't find any option within the app to read the changelog again except by coming here. I'll add a button to the notification to open a changelog dialog. Also, the next version will show a changelog for the current version by clicking Version in Settings > About.Hi, if I update from the notification I recieve when there's an update without checking the changelog first, changelog disappears from the app. I couldn't find any option within the app to read the changelog again except by coming here. Bump @skvalexCould you please change the download folder for the new versions from /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/org.skvalex.cr... to the Download folder may be.
They'd remain there and when we make TB backups they would be included. The backups size is getting bigger. Hope you consider.

Hi,
I'm trying the trial version and trying to configure the WebDAV. I set the URL, login and password of my nextcloud's webdav (which is working fine with other apps), but when I press "OK", nothing happens. The only thing that works is return. Is this some bug ?
Thanks
1. For now, it's around 10 USD. May differ slightly depending on your region, currency and taxes.Hey,
What is the price of this app ?
Need root for Pixel 6A with stock ROM ?
It looks like it works as expected, see this https://skvalex.org/help/customize-filenames
I run a business which my existing/potential customers get in touch with me over the phone, so call recorder is a must to me. Since Android 9, I believe I have tried over more than 5 different brands and over 10 different phones, a few of them can record call on both ends with speaker mode but quality is bad. I end up with Google Pixel phones as they are the most easy one to root. What I am saying is that if you want good quality call records, rooting your phone is properly your only choice. Don't get your hope high looking for a phone which has good call recorder without root.
Please make a screenshot of Folders and Files settings. On pixel 7 rooted with magisk.
The files aren't being named the way it is set in the settings.
Is this a known issue?
It used to work fine.
Also - sometimes the app creates a new folder for every call and sometimes it doesn't. Is that a setting?
Looks to me like these two issues are related. When the app is creating a folder for each call, then it will name the folder with the pattern that is set in the settings, but not the actual audio file.
adb shell pm grant org.skvalex.cr android.permission.READ_LOGS
Hi Skvalex,
Let us know if you're still around and if you have any news about reinstating the app in the Google Play.
