Android Ice Cold Project

AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!

Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.

If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Marshmallow. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.

How to flash:

Don't do it if you don't know it
Full wipe, flash rom, flash gapps, boot
ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes
To update to M, you must flash the M modem and perform a full wipe

KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows CM source with custom additions:

support for primary MultiROM ROM (includes kexec hardboot support)
Double Tap to Wake
Intelliactive governor available

PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

Hashbang what's the volte status on this ?advanced calling works on stock. Can you let us know?

Donation will be sent this week for this being the first officiall rom.. Gonna flash it soon hopefully VolTE works anytime I don't make a call on HD Voice I realize how bad CDMA call quality is lol.

Thanks HashBang173! So far everything feels smooth and haven't had any hangups. On an unrelated note, anyone get xposed running? I got the ROM up and running but when I attempt to flash the xposed version I used on the stock ROM, it just sits at the boot screen.

The ROM Android version is currently 5.1.1_r24, meaning you need to flash a newer version of xposed in order for it to work: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=3034811 (v75, sdk 22, arm64 should work)

Edit- The chop for the flashlight feels easier to me than in the stock ROM. Can't wait to see how everything is after a few days. :good:

Edit2- When I reboot, I get this on the first unlock. When I first installed the ROM and tried to skip the set up, it would say skipped then reload the first screen of the set up.

It only happens on the first unlock. Not sure if a bug or bad download.

You on Verizon?

For this error though just realized you might want to do factory reset,wipe cache and wipe dalvik.
