They live in the Netherlands, it 5:30 pm over there.
Yes, they might have EF10 soon.
They leak it from Samsung's Firmware update server and/or their sources from Samsung.

XDA RULES STILL APPLY HERE.
EF02 download: http://hotfile.com/dl/121177556/170dbb6/D700EF02.rar.html
to password to unzip files: samfirmware.com

To get cwm 3.1..0 recovery working and su, you need to flash this tar.
Put the tar in pda:
http://drockstar.devphone.org/EpicTar/cwm3.1.0.1.tar.md5
Flash su.zip through clockwork:
www.holylivingfuck.com/Stuff/su.zip

***do not use kernel debug tar** (if even posted in the video)

DO NOT FLASH THE DEBUG.TAR
IT FOR DEBUGGING PURPUSES ( it will eat baby and turn them into undead)

Another install instruction: http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=14827861&postcount=391

    Here's what worked for me:

Using a Palm Pre micro USB cable (since the Sammy cable sucks as we know.) Blackberry cables seem to work well as well, but YMMV.

    - Turn off phone
    - 3 Button boot into ClockWorkMod and make a backup ([Vol Down]+[Camera]+[Power] Buttons)
    - Reboot phone, backup with Titanium Backup (for easy app install later)
    - Turn phone back off once that backup is complete
    - Press and hold the hardware [1] key (on the physical keyboard) while pressing the [Power] button. This will put it in download mode with the alien shoveling something...
    - Open Odin3+v1.61.exe and press the PIT button, and select "victory_8G_100528.pit", press the PDA button and select "SPH-D700-EC05-8gb-REL.tar". I left auto-reboot checked, and EVERYTHING else UNCHECKED. (Make sure Odin recognizes your phone is plugged in; it will show a com port listed and highlighted in yellow.)
    - Press start and wait. If it doesn't get past factory.rfs, unplug everything, leave phone powered off with battery removed for at least 30 seconds, exit odin, and try again, if it still doesn't, use a different USB cable, try another USB port, if it still doesn't, use a different computer.
    - When Odin is done, it will reboot your phone. Disconnect the USB cable, close Odin 1.61.
    - Make sure "su.zip" is on your SD card (if you haven't already done so, transfer it now)
    - Now, turn the phone back off, and boot into download mode ([1]+[power] buttons)
    - Open Odin3 v1.81.exe and put "victory_8G_100528.pit" in the PIT field, and "SPH-D700-EF02-8Gb-REL.tar.md5" in the PDA field (leave the md5 extension, it is needed on this file.) Again, leave auto-reboot checked, and make sure everything else is unchecked and Odin recognizes the COM connection.
    - Press start and wait. After phone reboots again, disconnect USB cable.
    - Once phone is all the way booted, and SD scan is complete, go to: Menu>Settings>About Phone>System updates>Update Firmware to search for EF10 modem. My phone actually has an "Internal Error" during this step, so I am only on EF02 modem, but everything seems to work ok so far.
    - After the EF10 update, the phone will ask to check again and tell you to update to EF02, but just dismiss the notification. (Will pop up after each reboot AFAIK.)
If you lose the Baseband and Hardware Versions during this step, and get into Airplane mode, start over from the beginning, and skip this step.
    - Once that is done, turn the phone off again, and boot into download mode again ([1]+[power] buttons)
    - In Odin 1.81, click reset, then click the PDA button, find your "cwm3.1.0.1.tar.md5" file, and right click>rename the file to remove the .md5 extension, then click Open. This will put the "cwm3.1.0.1.tar" in the PDA field.
    - Make sure auto-reboot IS checked, and everything else is unchecked, then click Start and wait. (I didn't use a PIT file in this step, so don't worry about it, it will work whether or not you use one.)
    - Once this is done, your phone will reboot, after it is done rebooting, turn it off, then boot into CWM with the 3-button boot ([Vol Down]+[Camera]+[Power] Buttons)
    - Install the su.zip file then go back and reboot the phone (again.)

Once your phone boots up, you will be on EF02 and rooted.
I then went into Market, downloaded Titanium Backup, and updated busybox, then batch restored with "Restore missing apps with data" to allow the phone to install the missing apps. Then one more simple reboot for good measure.

I had to do it this way because it just would not work coming from SRF1.1.1 for me. I tried every USB port, and cables known to work fine Odin'ing back to EC05, so I figured I would try to do just that, get back on EC05, and try it from a "stock build". My guess is that the EXT4 system was upsetting it, but I'm not a dev, so I can't be sure.

I was curious to see what EC05 would say with Update Firmware, but I still got the "Internal Error" even on a fresh EC05 install, so I think there may be something wrong with my phone. (Unless someone knows why mine did that even on a stock build, same error pops up with Update Profile and Update PRL.)

I hope this helps at least ONE person out with getting this to work.

There are a million causes to support, all equally important to any number of people, but I don't really think this is the place to continually post it, over, and over, and over, and over, and over. I got the message quite a while ago, and I'd have to say the more it gets thrown into where it doesn't belong, it starts to wear a little on the annoying side. It does more harm than good to throw it all over the place. You're passionate about it, but not everyone's cause is yours. If your intention is to bring positive awareness, I think you're treading the boundary where it can do more harm than good.

There are numerous venues for your enthusiasm, but this is a cell phone forum, and that's really what people expect to find here. I had to say something as I feel you're doing more harm than good.

Had to say something. Think your an asshat. Just my opinion.

to get cwm 3.1..0 recovery working and su, you need this flashable tar.

    http://drockstar.devphone.org/EpicTar/cwm3.1.0.1.purple.tar.md5
    for root install www.holylivingfuck.com/Stuff/su.zip
    rename it to .tar
