If anyone is looking for a cheap micro usb otg host adapter to use to attach usb devices (thanks to DooMLord here), I ordered these from DealExtreme a few weeks ago and they just came in. Worked like a charm to mount a usb stick on my Arc. $2.20 with free shipping, no taxes as they marked it as a gift:

difference between DATA Cable and OTG cable

please explain difference in above mentioned cable?
Is OTG cable available for NOVO 7 Paladin?

Yeah, found that one too. With that prize, you could purchase a lot of them. In hardware shops, they may cost tens of euros.

mouse and keyboard also not detected by XPERIA ARC or NOVO 7 PALADIN
I don't have OTG cable?
Is OTG cable is required?

observation: Using USB HOST Controller Software(Available in Android market)
1) For NOVO 7 Paladin : USB HOST MODE is ACTIVE
:Keyboard, mouse not detected
2) For XPERIA ARC : USB HOST MODE not available or not Active
:Keyboard, mouse not detected

It works. I mean it detect my usb stick but dunno what to do next to view files on it

edit:
I got it to work. Fat32 for now but it's a start. Tried also xbox360 wireless reciver, usb keyboard (wired), usb mouse(wired). Eveything's working fine.

I find in Google, how make my awn OTG cable.

It works grate in Galaxy S2 but when I used in my Xperia Arc, just identify my usb but I can open files

I going to try with nokia cable, witch program use to access memory?
