ies, same for me! those files in VM were empty, I just wrote the numbers and saved, I also experienced a better feeling!

Well, to see xml files and classes.dex files in editable form, you need to decompile them. xml edits are easy to do, but to modify classes.dex file, you need to learn smali coding.

To decompile, you need to use apktool. Here is a guide on how to use apktool.

Regarding components of a theme, it can just contain the framework-res.apk or can contain more apps or framework files. It depends on the theme. In the GB theme i created, i included services.jar because i wanted to change the color of the date to white for the black status bar. But it doesn't seem to work in Froyomod. I dont know why.

In Froyo, most of the visual content is in framework-res.apk while in GB, it is split in between framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk.

Zeppelin now when you came here, tell me which script of yours should I use. Current minfree - 6, 8, 20, 30, 45, 55. Launcher priority - 1.

Thanks, that is meening a lot of work to do :eek:
When in Froyomod the services.jar not really work for Clock, so i can use the framework from 2.8.0 and update/exchange the Pictures there?

What i will do is:
  • fix the Slider Landscape Bug
  • Icons in widget bar like yours on SGS (Green=on Withe=off)
  • my Notification Button (with text milestoneNotification)
  • and a second for landscape to fix the aspect ratio in Text
  • Transparent Notification Backround (like mine)
  • Full black Provider background in Notification (like yours)
  • no transparent PowerWidget background (full black)

So i am out for long Weekend now.
Will read a littel bit with tapatalk.

Apps FCs with v2.9.0

After the update to FroyoMOD v2.9.0 some apps force close at start. For example My Tracks by Google or Sports Tracker (by Sports Tracking Technologies). The app "GPS Status" works.

Does anyone have the same problem? What could be the reason and what could I do to fix it?

I did all the wipes.

Yes, that problem was pointed out few pages ago, we still don't know what causes it, probably GMaps.

@sileshn am I sleepy or they seem too dark? Darker than status bar ones? Anyway maybe it's easy to paint those in CS5...

Lol just got an idea, cropping current GB icons (like the brightness one, it's small right now), than changing resolution, and colouring it same as other six SGS2 icons... but it will be...complicated -.-'

Or other idea, I'll just go beg Darky's ROM developers to make more icons for power widget that look the same (lol) ;).

sileshn's themes are really good! I guess I don't know all of them, but I've tested GB, HC and ARC and it's really good!
Is there any other theme that I don't know? I'm using Arc and i'm loving it! :D

Only the CRT-off-2 from Luca does work for me to turn off CRT.
But I got the message bug aswell, on SMS I get an green (instead of orange, set in SMSDroid) led.

Sorry to say this to you...
but I've broken the phone..(again ç__ç)

The digitizer said goodbye...
after the first 2 hours of swear, curses and blasphemies -.-"
Now I've sent a PM to Nadlabak, I heard he fixed himself his one, so I asked him informations!
Even if its my secondary phone, i'm really affecionated to him ç_ç

I'll upload the 2.9.1 with fixed FCs, Backlight (included), and some little little tweaks I had time to test before broken phone...

tomorrow i've an exham and then another 2 the next month so i will not have many time to fix the phone, i'll do it at lost time... (sadly ç_ç)
but Ill FOR SURE mantain alive the rom, with regoular updates and fixes (if needed obv), I can still test some barely things, (if it boots for example ahahah xD......... ç_ç) and can see the graphics


Sorry to all...I'm very disappointed of it, but ill try to fix when possible!

Also if anyone knows where to find digitizers AND a good guide will be appreciated!
Also will I need some special instruments? (welders or thoose things)...cause I do not have nothing ç_ç

    Of the 4 keyboards, Motorola and HTC one have Prediction test ALSO ON HW KEYBOARD;

    Q: My phone when receives a call, many times skip the ring!
    A: You have to change the profile (from silent to vibration, sound or sound+vib) in the statusbar widget, then will work ok!

    Q: I really do not like GoLauncher it sucks!
    A: I choosed it cause I like it :D You are free to install 2d/3d launche rfrom 3rd post, or one from market :D

    Q: The CrystalTalk Phone.apk have many glitches! It's horrible!
    A:The motorola original Phone.apk is not thought to be used by an original AOSP Rom, so if you really want CT, just live with it!

    Q: The battery has a "?" in status bar!
    A: probably because you are using a non official Moto Battery!, just go to FRoyomod Extras->Extras and choose to switch to 10% steps and reboot!

    Q: I don't know how to flash this rom, can you help?
    A: Sure. Read the sticky in this forum and learn the basics.

    Q: This Rom is garbage, it doesnt work, and you call yourself a Chef?
    A: No, I do not refer me as chef!! And you are free to try to do it and better :D.

    Q: Can I donate to you for all you have already done?

    Q: How much do you update your rom?
    A: I'm trying to be regular with one release at month (AT LEAST), I'm also a student and do this as hobby to test and learn java, c++ and C#! So if I have some delays, try to understand that I have first to study and work and THEN the rom xD
