(M3D Benchmark)

Hello

I want to show you a new Benchmark app which you can almost understand how much is your android device power to handle 3d games and apps.
This Benchmark is created with Unity 3d game engine (game engine of Shadowgun) and it is based on OpenGL ES 2.0 with This API (OpenGL ES 2.0) your device can handle Advanced rendering techniques like rendering bump maps. The Cost of M3D Benchmark is 0.00$ or in other words it's Free.

Maybe you want to say this benchmark is heavy ! it might be true ! but you should know in this benchmark there are lots of trees and flowers Also there are particle systems such as rain, and there are bump maps and etc.

Most contents of this benchmark is from unity3d BootCamp Demo in another word it’s almost a MOD.

Now I want from you to help me to create it better and I want from you submit your result (AVERAGE FPS) via posting your replies (please write your device model, your Rom version also it is better you upload a screenshot from your result).
M3D Benchmark is Developed by knight93.

Some notes:
1-last version of M3D Benchmark is v2.00b(http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1370745&page=23 (Post 228))
2-You need Froyo 2.0.1 and an OpenGL ES 2.0 supported device at minimum.
3-Because of M3D Benchmark (from v1.10 to v1.20) apk file size (About 28MB) installation may take up to 2 minutes.
4-If you can’t install the App please check up install from unknown sources permission.
5-Screen shot of splash image is simulated in pc.
6-it's better you don't allow to your device became lock (for example tap your screen)also you can increase your device display time out instead of touching display.
7-v1.00 is deleted because of it's problem,(v1.20 is available:http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=21613547&postcount=171) , version 1.10 isn't final version and performance is really finalized.

Thank you
I wait for your comments.

please write the version of m3d benchmark which you have tested.

HTC EVO 3D, I used two different speeds: 384MHZ - 1.2GHZ & 384-1.5GHZ. Both came out around here.
Average: ~8.5XXXXFPS
Current: ~11.XXXXFPS

I really like the benchmark so far, even if it is 30MB ^_^

Hum, yeah that was with gpu overclock, but then, run a benchmark with overclock.
Want to see full pics, and the ROM that did those benchmarks?
    Go here: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1317965

Yeah, it gets hot, 35 degres, but I do not care at all. It still beats all, and I would love it even if it was burning as hell.

So now run 3D Bench and let see how many fps you'll be able to do.
And about the phone problems, there are many That you don't may know, as yellowish screen, and so on.
But my s2 do not suffer of this problems. So I have one of the good manufactured ones I guess.

No it wasn't a gpu overclock..... actually just custom rom and kernel.

No i don't want to see the rom i want you to redo the test and post the entire result as i did.

Yes the o2x does suffer from some minor screen bleeding but i never even noticed it untill some very picky people pointed it out, and iv seen the screen black on many occasions and still didn't notice till it was pointed out... barely noticeable.... the heat generated from your phone however is very noticeable and i bet that the overheating will be the death of it at some point. The tegra chipset has never suffered from this even when overclocked to the max.

Both phones have their good and bads but if you think the tegra 2 chipset is outdated your seriously just an idiot fanboy like those 360 vs ps3 fanboys who just cant accept that both consoles are equally as good and both have their good sides and their bad.

o2x vs sgs2 stock... o2x has better 3d results i don't need to post proof of this there is already proof out there.

Also i think that you need to use the tegra sdk in order to get proper use of the gpu and i don't think this benchmark did considering the trees were all purple.
Benchmarks are also not very accurate anyway so try not to get so excited over the results and just try comparing them game to game rather than letting a bunch of useless numbers that differ after every benchmark test.
