I'm stuck deciding between the G3 and S5 because both are great phones. I love the S5 for the waterproof feature, but the G3 screen is beastly. OS-wise, I hate touch-wiz and I haven't used anything but AOSP on my galaxy s3, while the LG G3 stock "seems" more android and less bloated.

Having looked at past android development forums, Sammy has always had a more ROM development than LG. So here are my questions:

1. Will this change this time around, rather will LG see a bigger following?

2. Which phone do you expect to have more development?

3. How will the locked bootloader and new restrictions on the S5 factor into dev work?

4. Is there any definite reason why one phone is a much better upgrade than the other?

Thanks for taking the time to check this out and speculation is welcome.

Same for both since both have BL locked as far as ATT/Verizon goes.
