What to do if you or someone you know was banned?

Everybody is given instructions on how to appeal a ban. If they follow those instructions the circumstances will be looked into. If you feel like any of the moderators are not doing their job properly you can PM any senior moderator or you can PM the Moderator Committee. These issues are always dealt with more easily via PM then by opening a public thread. This is because the moderators try to protect every one's privacy, so it is difficult for us to respond in a public forum.
