just got the update here as well

(Note I use the device on WiFi only so no problem getting the update if you don't pay Verizon for service.

installing itself now, def 4.4.2

while we are all here together, i had a basic question:

i know we are all 'victims' of the locked bootloader from Big Red.
but how did earlier dev's get around locked bootloaders in the past?

if im not mistaken, Moto negotiated with the carriers to control the updates (with the carriers approval) for the Moto X and G. I'd link the article but i dont have it on my work machine.

    Stock ROM was mentioned somewhere... But maybe Motorola will decide to unlock it, cause right now they are acting like Verizon owns them
