[Q] verizon moto g - kitkat?

I don't have an update at all available. Did u finish updating it ? Is it KitKat ?

I am getting nothing when manually checking for a update :/

installing itself now, def 4.4.2
while we are all here together, i had a basic question:
i know we are all 'victims' of the locked bootloader from Big Red.
but how did earlier dev's get around locked bootloaders in the past?

if im not mistaken, Moto negotiated with the carriers to control the updates (with the carriers approval) for the Moto X and G. I'd link the article but i dont have it on my work machine.

just got the update here as well
(Note I use the device on WiFi only so no problem getting the update if you don't pay Verizon for service.

I booted up my phone and 4.4.2 update was waiting for me, now installed.
