weak wifi signal

first of all thanx mike for developing this firmware for 2011 series.Without you we can't have an opportunity to enjoy such wonderful firmware in our phone..
now as a user of sony erricson live with walkman i would like to bring some issues regarding the firmware
1. the major and most important problem is that wifi signal is not working properly.after a time period the wifi signals become inactive..
2.the auto brightness is not working properly...might be adjustment problems

sorry if you have already solved the issues.as i am a new user could not be aware of solutions...
and if anybody else knows the solution specially wifi issue plz help
i have already tried the terminal emulator command for wifi improvements but it didn't solve my issue..

About auto brightness you can test my settings. ;)
If you use a night clock and you find too bright background screen, the best way I found is to install the excellent Dock Clock (Night Clock) and set brightness to 1 in settings app.
With this settings and with this app I'm perfectly pleased with brightness, hoping you too...

This is off topic but I have been using this rom so i might as well post here.
I'm using sk17i, with Mike's rom and kernel.
Since past 3-4 days, my touchscreen has been giving me issues. Everytime i slide out the physical keyboard, the touchscreen becomes unresponsive until i restart my phone.

Anybody has any ideas as to what might be the cause and the solution?

I just flashed an ICS rom called next gen v8, and im not having the above issue in that ROM.
The issue existed in pacman 4.3 rom.

I felt the heat at the top of my phone, especially on the screen.
I feel it happens since I flash stock ftf Haida in my Hallon (since mike suggested it).
I have tried 10.1 and 10.2 cm and the result is the same.
Does anyone feel the same as me? or just me?

And I do not know if it's related or not. I was just afraid I'd broken screen, because in my country spare parts for xperia 2011 is very difficult to find and the price is expensive :(

I really love this phone, and I do not plan to change my phone until the end of the year.

Sent from my Xperia Neo using xda app-developers app

Anyone more than me having problems with text-to-speech with this ROM since Google tts upgrading to 2.4.3? Can't seem to get anything out of it at all. The strange thing is that I restored a backup of the old version 2.1.0, but still I can't get it to work. Really irritating...

When i play recorded video or audio, the volume of sound is too low in both cases compared to ICS roms. Hope you'll fix it. :)

Looks like half the posters don't get that this is a common FAQ thread for ALL XPERIAs.
Which makes sense because we mostly have common problems.

About the original question:
I have (my Ray has) ~1Mbit upload with the speedtest.net app on wifi, but that fluctuates wildly.

Oh thanks.
My Neo has 10Mbps DL and 0.01 or 0Mbps UL with speedtest.net. While 3G works normally.
I think it is a issue only on Neo/V.
It is a known issue on Neo builds back to August. Just not sure if it is fixed or leaved alone...

Anyway if I upload things to a FTP with an internal IP, the speed is fine. Just not working with an external IP.
I was using ICS stock rom before without this problem, so the router config should be fine.

I was just wondering if LX CM 10.2 nightlies are stable enough for daily use ( as a daily ROM), I'm currently on LX CM 10.1 and its pretty stable.. so is the step up to CM10.2 worthy for daily use??

I've been using it as my daily ROM since first nightly and I've had no big problems whatsoever. And things are becoming better all the time.

The only problems I'm experiencing are bluetooth related. It uses quite much battery with bluetooth enabled and sometimes it disconnects. With those things solved this ROM would be absolute perfectness for me :victory:
