» Installation is simple:
  • If coming from another ROM or another major AOKP version, wipe data in recovery
  • Make sure you're using the latest CWM or TWRP
  • Flash ROM
  • Flash Google Apps (GAPPS)
  • Reboot

2) If you are having trouble flashing the d801 zip, open the zip file and remove the first line of the updater-script file inside the META-INF folder. Rezip and flash the resulting zip.

Looks like I'll have a pissed off wife today as I'll spend most of Thanksgiving ignoring her and her family while I play with this new ROM. And if 4.4 does indeed come out later today I might as well make a spot on the couch to sleep on right now as I'll inevitably be sent there before the evening ends.

Thanks for the builds. Glad I could be a part of those who donated.

    Got 4.4 up and booting on all variants, turns out it was a stupid dalvik issue that was preventing a boot.

    I'm working on ironing out RIL issues across all variants before releasing.

    In the mean time, huge thanks to houstonn who has provided his sources for everyone to use! Very helpful

    Alright guys, progress update for today:

    1) Put a metric crap-ton (yes that is an accepted unit of measure) of work into a custom kernel today, sources are up on my git. Should be releasing soon for 4.3/4.4 AOSP ROMs for all variants.

    2) RE ls980 and d803 builds will probably come in the form of 4.4 since I don't know what the issue is, but it won't boot on 4.3.

    3) We've had some pretty major hardware changes in AOKP the past few days and 4.4 compilation is broken, but I've isolated the issue RE AOKP not currently having support for custom release tools that we need for our devices (loki). Will get all 4.4 builds out ASAP, since I know many of you are eager. (honestly though, you aren't missing much right now, AOKP is AOSP + "AOKP Version" in the settings menu for 4.4 atm :p)

    4) I think I found the issue with the current 4.3 vs980 build, currently rebuilding and there will be a new build on Androxfer that will pop up soon. I will post back here when its ready.

    If you flash anything from my test folder, be prepared for it to not boot... which is why it is known as test :p

    Still working on bringing up AOKP features, Themes and some small features were added back last week, working towards even more. It's getting there, should be starting nightlies soon.
