Is it possible to enable soft keys? This would be wonderful because my homebutten doesn't work properly. For now i am using an app but that's not really a nice solution. Could you please consider to implemt this feature? :/
Thank you for your effort! :)

Camera Error

I'm having a weird "Camera error" with the last couple (I guess) updates.

I can record video with no problem, but using any camera app (including OpenCamera or the stock camera app) I get a "Camera error", "Can't connect to the camera.".
I've tried restarting as well with no luck.

I'm on 910F (trltexx), and I didn't have this problem before the last update.

I attach two logs (with the latest update installed)
One where I try to take a picture.
The other is the same but with the phone just restarted and logs since beginning.

Hope it helps.

Almost forgot, it also happens to change the date when it restart, so maybe this logs helps as well with that.
After entering SIM PIN code it gets back to normal.

Just installed latest build (1/29) last night. Cane from CM13, CPF3. Flashed CPL1, wiped, and installed the room and bank Gapps and it was amazing how much smoother and faster everything was.

I put my phone on my wireless charger last night, and woke up to the phone being off. I'm not sure if I captured the log cat in time, but I've uploaded it regardless.

I will try and replicate it throughout the day, but may be be hard cause I'm not sure exactly what caused it to shut down, or how long it took to shutdown.

For reference, I woke up around 10 and booted up the phone right away. I was looking at the head of the logcat and it seems to have boot up records on 3/27? Not sure if that's just a placeholder time or not.

Edit - I think I found the culprit: GMD SPen Control. For whatever reason, even after granting root access to GMD, it will never successfully complete its root checking. It wil go for about 30 seconds, before uneventfully crashing the phone. This makes sense because in the past with GMD and CM SPen, my phone has randomly activated the spen, causing the screen to turn on. I know believe this to be the fault of GMD. It seems development has stopped at lollipop officially.

[Recovery] Custom TWRP Builds [Feb 5, 2017]

I've created a new thread for custom TWRP builds.

This UNOFFICIAL TWRP recovery is built for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Snapdragon variants in EmotionOS/LineageOS Android 7.1.1 Nougat tree with correct device-specific SELinux policy. They fix some warnings/errors and differ from the OFFICIAL TWRP in the following ways:
  • Designed to be built with LineageOS 14.1 only
  • Customize the mksh prompt and environment by editing mksh/mkshrc
  • Require fstab v2 syntax
  • Use external repositories for pigz, exfat, fuse
  • Power key toggles screen on/off
  • SuperSU and HTC Dumlock have been removed
  • Other customizations (see change history)
You can get the OFFICIAL TWRP recovery for Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910V) from here. Other devices can find their variants in the device-specific forums.

Display Colors/Options

If you want to restore stock display colors/options, turn off LinveDisplay (set Display Mode to Off), Adaptive Display, and Ambient Display. Otherwise, enjoy tweaking your display options and calibrate the colors for your liking.

Please see attached logical.txt when I tried to launch application sigfig, I can login and do everything, but I can't scroll. This works flawlessly in 1/20 build last. I can't install any app from internal or external storage, and I can't enable device administrator to give my corporate access to my phone for exchange servers. I am on 2/13 build using TMobile 910t.

Please see attached link for logical.txt..https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6ZUBgCE7Pzld2ZFdVFEUC03OVU/view?usp=sharing

The app was updated last year! 1st, report the issue to the app developer and make sure that it supports Android 7.1.1 Nougat (SDK 25):
Code:
Unknown element under <application>: enable-feature at /data/app/com.sigfig.sigfig-1.apk Binary XML file line #489

For fingerprint enrollment, you may need to swipe quilckly one more time at the end so that you get two "Done" messages. Fingerprint won't work until you successfully register at least one finger.

That's ok. N910VVRU2CPD1 is Marshmallow and the partial firmware doesn't update/lock the bootloader.
quoting you from the q&a post!

I have the same exact issue as fz798. my bootloader info is also the same as his(MM), i've recently flashed the CQA1. I can't even swipe once, i simply get a dialogue error saying enrollment error. see attached picture.
I attached a log as well, this line may be of help perhaps?
02-22 00:59:34.673 W/FingerprintService(1246): startEnroll failed, result=40

Anyone else having an issue where the microphone suddenly stops working? There are two parts to this issue, possibly related. Firstly, when plugging in my headphones (no headset mic) no one can hear me in calls (this always happens). Here is an example of the second issue: I was using maps, playing a podcast, and then received a phone call while my headphones were plugged in, then my mic quit working. No combination of plugging in an removing plugs fixes the issue.

Restart fixes the issue until it randomly happens again, usually within 2-3 days. I can't find the trigger still, though it seems to happen near phone calls when multiple programs are accessing the audio device..

I could try an audio device reset if anyone knows the command. I also have full arch Linux installed if there is a linux troubleshooting method anyone can think of.

Log attached - the issue occurred during a phone call just after 17:35, though it started occurring before that. I won't be near a computer to properly trim the log for a while - sorry for the length.

Built-in SuperSU Support

I've added support for SuperSU systemless root that doesn't need any kernel/ramdisk patching. The required SELinux rules are integrated into the ROM SEPolicy built with the ROM. It'll be included in the coming build.

    ROM Status

    Release Date:
No ETA, but you could vote for a newer build by hitting THANKS to the announcement post of the latest build.

    Supported Variants:
This ROM fully support US variants:
    • Verizon / VZW (SM-N910V)
    • T-Mobile / TMO (SM-N910T)
    • Sprint / SPR (SM-N910P)
    • US Cellular / USC (SM-N910R4)
    and
    • Canadian variant (SM-N910W8)
International Snapdragon variants (SM-N910F and SM-N910G) need RIL/QMI fix. This can be done by flashing blobs from the latest firmware (cm-14.1-trltexx-fix_v3.zip or cm-14.1-trltexx-fix_v4.zip) before flashing Gapps.

    Nandroid Backup/Restore:
To fix nandroid restores (No SIM and Phone FCs) due to TelephonyProvider data/symlinks for using legacy RIL blobs on newer versions of Android 7.x+, you may wipe TelephonyProvider data by flashing this ZIP directly after restore and before rebooting to system.

    Required Firmware:
The latest firmware (currently, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow) is required for all variants. Check your device/variant forum for firmware upgrade!

    Bug Reports:
All bug reports should be posted here. I'll ignore the posts that don't include appropriate logs. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to respond to the PMs.

    User Support:
There's a linked thread for Q&A, general discussions, and pre-/post-installation chat. Please keep this thread clean and post there all your personal issues that are not related to the development such as Xposed, themes, extra mods, other stuff, ... etc.

This thread is only for development, including bug reports with logs. All other topics should be moved to the support thread.

Thank you for collaboration! That's how users could contribute to the development.
