When I try to delete HTC.imi from system/apps it says file can not be deleted. Trying to install the theme keyboard. I would really appreciate the help. Thanks

The part I really wanted was the transparent Genie widget but no matter how I do it I always completely screw up the widget altogether. I have tried flashing it (get errors about missing files), I tried removing all the apks except for Genie from the zip and then flashing, still screws it up. I tried using Root Explorer to copy the modified apk to my /system/app directory, etc. Every time I either lose it entirely as an option or attempting to add it force closes.
I kinda gave up on it for now. Got everything set up pretty well and I don't feel like doing another NAND restore at the moment. If anyone has an idea how to repair this widget or avoid breaking it I am eager to hear it.
I'm on the latest Baked Snack and everything else is excellent. I've tried other weather widgets with transparent backgrounds but this has always eluded me. In my opinion it's one of the better looking ones out there. Weatherbug and most others are too tiny and don't look right on Evo.

I use beautiful widgets - if you use beautiful smaller home weather and set it to hide the clock background (or very low transparency setting) it gives a similar effect.
This is a VERY NICE theme.
I noticed its written for EVO and I have a Droidx, and a Droid2...
Will it work on a DX, or D2, and if so do I just follow the OP directions?
If it doesn't its still a nice theme and I am envious of you all!

afraid not - funnily enough, you have the option to hide the weather, but not the clock. There are a ton of skins for both the clock and weather though, so you'll probably be able to find something that works with the theme you're going for, as long as showing the clock isn't a dealbreaker. You can also change the color of the text also, if that helps at all.
It's cool. I'll just use Weatherbug or Snowstorm for now. It's all just tweaking and tinkering anyway. I'm sure if I started from scratch I could get this working. Chances are it's something I did anyway.

Yes, the original post seems to be dead. Maybe somebody can move the mirrors from a page ago or so back up to the first page? Problem is that Baked Snack refers to the first page of the post. I wouldn't have even looked otherwise. I'm sure that's going to keep happening.
