I can confirm that copying a mixed folder from root/ internal to SD or back is a bit slow. Deleting goes instantly here. Moto G titan Aosp Extended ROM 7.1.2.I'd like confirm that file copying / deleting operations are too slow on my device. I tried to copy a 3.xx MB (about 4MB) folder from /data that I created (containing various files but not too many) to my external sd card and it's taking about 30 seconds to complete. The same happens when I try to delete the folder from the external storage. The same file copying operation is instantaneous with ES (a very old version) and rsync via the command line. I am on Oppo Find 7 running Lineage 14.1. I hope this can be resolved with this awesome file manager. MiXplorer version is 6.18.5.
I hope this can be investigated.

It might be useful to provide logs for @HootanParsa in order to check if it's related to e.g. cp or similar or else to some function he wrote.I can confirm that copying a mixed folder from root/ internal to SD or back is a bit slow. Add a backslash before these characters [\^$.|?*+(){} to escape them.Found a problem with Regex renaming.
If the filename includes "[" or "]" in it, it won't work. For instance I was trying to rename a couple hundred files named :
[author]_work_page000.jpg,
[author]_work_page001.jpg,
etc.
... Into someting different, and it was impossible. Until I realized it was the "[ ]", because I've had a similar problem doing the same in Linux before.
The old Batch Renamer for Android could do it though.
Edit : I realize it is because of the way Regex expressions work, but I wonder if there is a workaround... Wonder how Batch Renamer did it.
@Ultramanoid in regular expressions you need to escape these chars, what is the regex you are using?

Edit: Try the next build and tell me the result. Thank you.
Would you please send me another log?thanks. I posted more detail in previous post. here it is. the log: https://hastebin.com/dayineduxu

@Ultramanoid what exactly are you trying to do? What are the old and new names and pattern?...Thanks for the reminder, I do it in Linux, but for some reason I was too lazy and wanted something easier on Android.
Good luck fixing your device !

It's irrelevant why you don't want to follow the rules but if you don't it will eventually lead to consequences to your account. I'm convinced this is something you want to avoid.1. Search before posting.

The project is far from dead. HootanParsa regularly takes extended breaks from XDA, months at a time sometimes, but is brilliant with catching up with feature requests/bugs/etc. when they return. For the extent at which most users will use MiXplorer, everything still works great. Obviously there may be some niche issues and the odd request here and there but everything works more than fine, for the most partLooks like the project is dead.
I was about to buy it (support the project) untill I read when the last update was released.
Your post is no. #43,838. That's a strong indicator for the passion and long standing development and support from the developer - despite some breaks in between. You'll have difficulties to find another app having a longer history than MiXplorer. And of course, I cannot speak for the developer, but I'm quite sure, there will be updates in the future. So there are good reasons to support the developer now and in the future.Looks like the project is dead.

I've already replied to this exact post but doing so again, just for context.Looks like the project is dead.

You said "use an alternative" in your post.
Is there any possibility to open a different viewing app out of MiXExplorer instead of ImageViewer which would allow swiping through the whole folder?
If I click "open with" and choose Google Photos for example only the one picture opened opens in Google Photos and I cannot swipe through the whole folder like I can in ImageViewer.
