Useful info. Going to install on my i9082 :)

One question: Does GApps really need to be installed? I just use Youtube and Play Store. I don't need the other crap stuff on my storage.
I tried a custom GApps on my actual OS but always had errors (Gmail stop working, Voice stop working, etc) and I installed the standard package and it's ok but I don't use many of them.
Without GApps, you won't get Google functionalities like play store, calendar etc. You have to install gapps as these ROMs don't contain them. Although there are many options. In your case, download the pico version which has play store, calender and a couple of important Google services.:)

You can download pico they are small

I did that and Pico gave me errors while flashing. Then I tried Standard and it worked. Downloaded both from gapps.com

I heard there are a lot of GApps that always fails while flashing, dunno if that is true. But I will try again the Pico version with 5.2 OS.

Thank you guys

Download pico gapps from opengapps.org
And clean flash with rom or after rom

Clean means wipe system and data partitions also

If problem exists then change ur recovery

Flash with twrp (i assume u r using cwm)... And there wipe section wipe also preload partition before flashing

Did a search looking for a ROM 5.2 but couldn't find any. Can you please refer me something stable?
Also, which TWRP is the best for my Samsung i9082? (I am using CWM and it's simple to use).
Also, which GApps should I use? On opengapps.com (where I downloaded my first package) only has 5.0 and 5.1 Since I will run 5.2 should I use 5.1 version?

Well, I am still waiting for a Mod to warn me to don't make more "spam" but I made a thread asking for this and no one replied.

I am using Leneage OS 5.0.2 with CMW 12.1 but apps stop working for no reason and also my Android sometimes shuts down for no reason when idle or not.

Im already looking for this ROM 5.1.1 but I am still looking for a CWM or TRWP (some stable and easy to use).

My device is a Samsung Grand Duos i9082 (this is the i9082 dev board)

(Im a newbie on this area so don't blame me, Im still reading stuff to learn more)

Edit

I think this is the OS I used.

Anyone noticed this behavior?
In contacts, once an online account had been created, there is no more option to save to "phone only unsynched" , only online account (Google etc.).

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7.1 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device..
    Code:
    #include
    /*
    Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
     */
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github RepoAnd if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review

    Device-specific source code:
    Device tree
    Kernel source
     Compatibilitiy Patches:
    WebView

    Downloads
    ROM
    RECOVERY
    GAPPS

    What works?
    Wi-Fi
    Bluetooth
    RIL (Calls, SMS, Mobile Data)
Sensors (Accelerometer, Compass, Light, Proximity, etc.)
    Camera
    Video (playback & recording)
    Audio (playback & recording)
    GPS
Everything else not listed under "known issues"

    Known Issues
Screenshots and Recents App thumbnails are blank
Runtime storage permission does not fully work (setns kernel patches are not applied, see com.android.cts.appsecurity.PermissionsHostTest#te stInteractiveGrant CTS test. After granting permission, the app will need to be restarted before it sees the new permission.)

Additionally, Dual SIM has the following limitations (once they work):
Both SIMs are always enabled (no way to disable one SIM)
"Receive incoming call while data is enabled" is always enabled

    Installation
    Make a backup!
If you were on CM 10.1 or a stock ROM prior to 4.2, upgrade to stock 4.2 first.
Install ClockworkMod recovery with SELinux support. Older CWM will result in a "status 7" error.
    Reboot into recovery
If you are using a recovery which mounts /system on boot, unmount it before installing
Wipe data if coming from stock or other ROMs (You may get a "status 7" error if you fail to wipe.)
    Install the ROM
Optionally install the Google Apps Addon (In Marshmallow, you MUST flash gapps before booting into the system for the first time or else the proper permissions will not be granted resulting in Setup Wizard crash. If you experience the crash, you will need to do a factory reset.)

To upgrade to a newer build, simply flash the zip. There's no need for data wipe or flashing Google Apps again. (However, if you are experiencing strange issues, you may want to try a wipe.)
