eXperience ROM is based on STOCK SONY. This is CM 9.
Also working on a CM 9 based ROM with all STOCK Sony features. I'm using it on my phone, and it's BETTER THAN SONY STOCK, FASTER THAN SONY STOCK because it runs on top of CM 9.
But still has CM9 bugs. I guess that's why they still want to use roms based on Sony stock.

Pretty nice Rom.. Basic apps like calculator and gallery are missing, but there are many available in the market.. I really like the font btw.. It's stylish and easy to read.. Umm.. Performance is really good.. I 've installed a ton of apps just to test how this Rom performs and it's doing great... I will calibrate my battery and I 'll report how the battery life is!

Actually the CM9 ROM has almost no (2 or 3) bugs. At least nothing that stops it from working as a daily driver.
Will fix everything with next release. Will provide GMail from Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean, updated Gallery and will include Calendar again.
Do report back with performance. And try DS Battery Saver Pro if battery isn't satisfying you.

Been using that ROM for nearly 4 days now. Currently battery at 10%. Been using the phone for mild texting, calling, whatsapping, surfing over 3G.
Battery last charged, 1 day and 13 hours ago!

Both are great. You can enjoy great gaming using both ROMs. Just if you want a complete ROM with Sony apps, go for Xperia Premium.

**Performance Tweaks**
-> DISABLE AUTOMATIC BRIGHTNESS
-> WIPE CACHE
-> WIPE DALVIK CACHE
-> ENABLE ZRAM (18%)
-> ENABLE PURGING OF ASSETS
-> REBOOT
Also, after installing all the apps you wanted via AROMA:
-> FIX PERMISSIONS via CWM
-> REBOOT
Fixing permissions will make sure there isn't any unwanted FCing.
Charge your Battery to a 100%:
-> WIPE BATTERY STATS
-> REMOVE Charger
-> Use for complete cycle (to nearly 10%)
-> Do not reboot anywhere in between
-> CHARGE to 100% (and give additional 1 hour after that)
-> Enjoy COMPLETE BATTERY CYCLE
This ensures that when your battery shows 5% remaining, it actually is 5% instead of really being 15%. That's why battery calibration is important. It doesn't improve battery life, but gives you your COMPLETE Battery life.

- Force 2D GPU rendering

- Do not use task killers
- Freeze/Move to Quarantine those APPS which you DO NOT USE regularly and you don't want them TO RUN IN THE BACKGROUND

Go ahead, try it. Move all unwanted apps to quarantine now!
**DEEP SLEEP BATTERY SAVER**
Your phone sips the least amount of power when it is in DEEP SLEEP STATE. There is a new app in the marketplace which can FORCE DEEP SLEEP STATE on your phone. This is especially useful if you want the phone to conserve battery for hours and then wake up for a minute and sync all new alerts in one go. This can help prolong your usage on a single charge.
