Hey Everyone :)

Got really sick of having to do manual wipe's .

So here is my Wipe.zip . just use and wait till finished for FULL wipe :) :)

For : Desire HD - " Ace" & DZ/G2/Vision

**** WILL NOT FORMAT SDCARD... ANY OF THEM .... *****


MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL A ROM!!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR BOTH CWM 2 & 3 :

Code: 
1. Download .zip - what version you want.
2. Place in /sdcard/
3. Reboot into Recovery (CWM)
4. Install zip from sdcard
5. Choose zip from sdcard
6. Choose wipe-X.X.zip
7. CONFRIM--- THIS IS UNDO-ABLE. WILL START TO DELETE EVERYTHING!!!!
8.DONE :)
9.DONT REBOOT
10. FLASH NEW ROM
11.REBOOT :)

ClockWorkMod 2 & 3 - ( Edify Script )

FULL_WIPE_1.5_EXT4_

This patch can be applied prior to flashing the ROM, please note, this zip will wipe your device and format all partitions to EXT4.

Useful for LeeDroid 3.0.3 etc...any rom with Ext4 support..

* SYSTEM - Ext4
* DATA - Ext4
* CACHE - Ext4
* Format ("/sdcard/.data/navigator/Data/Temporary");

EASY_UPGRADE_WIPE_1.5_EXT4_.zip

Use if you DON'T want your data removed! Use full for ROM upgrades ie. From CM7 Nightlys #1 to CM7 Nightlys #2 . Or LeeDroid 2.1 to 2.2 etc...

You WILL need to reinstall gapps if usings cm7...

partitions are exactly the same, the only difference is that after formatting it erases the entire image with erase_image in order to completely wipe in case artifacts are left over from the low-level format like ohsaka's superwipe for the g1/mt3g

Sometimes i upgrade my rom without wiping my data ( and it's works !).
it will be possible in a futur release ?

Edit update-script file inside zip package and delete "format DATA:" line.

BTW system folder inside zip package is not necessary I think.

    This implies that Full Wipe doesn't format DALVIK-CACHE or BOOT. Is that correct as it appears that to perform a wipe of all I would need to run both?

    When you decide to change to a completely new rom, use full wipe only. It will format Dalvik Cache and Boot, reasons as follows:

    1. Dalvik Cache resides WITHIN /cache and /data partitions

    2. Boot will be formated when you flash the new rom.

    When you decide to update your current rom, use only easy wipe. It will leave the /data partition untouched but will wipe Dalvik Cache and Boot.
