OK, now the new stuff. Some of this I have sent to Scott PM but I put it out there for all to see and ask for your help.

I use Playon for watching HULU, and some other things. This worked in stock. For some reason it will not play videos. It does show the programs but from what I get from their help desk is that it is not going to the default player with is Adobe flash player. Suggestions?

I use TubeGod for youtube downloads. It work in stock. and EasyTube does work. But the selection from TubeGod has always been better for some reason. I click the app and it screen goes black for a few seconds like it is thinking of opening but then it goes right back to app list. Suggestions?

I use RemoteVNC Pro with AD for controlling my home computer. This worked in stock. Really this is hit and miss. I thought I had it fixed but going to CDMA only. Since it was not working with LTE. But then that stopped working. It is making like it does not see my network even though forwarded ports are and have always been the same. Heck it is even hit and miss when on WiFi in the my house. Suggestions?

This might be something that has been asked and answered but here it is again. On the lock screen in stock I liked the idea that I was able to pick what was on my shortcuts instead of it defaulting to what is on the main screens. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this that way it is and will always be in ICS?

I had been running 3.7 for so long and I figured it out there but seem to forgotten and thought maybe one of you can lead me right there. Call me silly but I like the weather animation of Sense. I got the sounds going but no rain on the windscreen. I am running Pro so I thought it might be that but I did not seem to see on the OP that this was removed. Is this the case? Has it been removed to save space or speed?

Other than all of this. I LOVE THIS ROM. I have jumped many a time and stopped at 3.7 cause I was getting tired of setting up my screens. Well as always this version was well worth it. If any of you can get me any suggestions you might have to my questions I will finish the set up and wait for the next.

Scott you are the best and have done the best work I have seen. I do not claim to be an expert at this stuff but I do go through the phones and look for the best ROM. I can safely say I have the best phone in the Rezound with the best ROM in CleanRom...

Keep up the GREAT work!

#1- Playon. I have the same problem. We need to figure out how to add Adobe Flash Player to list of available players.

#2- Tube God. I don't know. Sounds like the app is crashing. May have to push to system with ADB.

#3- Remote VNC. Don't know. Not familiar with it.

#4- Lockscreen Shortcuts- This is ICS. I get around it by using Widget Locker.

That's all I got for now.

Thanks, that worked, but for some reason, my speeds are super slow.

I did a 4g speed test with the ookla app, and I'm getting 11Mb down, and 6Mb up.

When I have my computer connected to my phone, my phone is displaying 3.5kB down, and 60.5kB up.

It's super slow, to the point that websites on my computer don't even load pages.

Any idea as to why this is happening?

Nice work Scott ! Finally flashed this rom after playing with Newt's for awhile and I must say it is very smooth and pretty good battery life. Running the sense 4 rom my battery drained like nothing.. a full day so far on Clean Rom Pro and I am still at 56 % .

Clock won't stay hidden across reboots

I finally bit the bullet and wiped my stable CleanROM 4.0, flashed 4.3 and have it all back to normal. The ROM is great, I like the enhancements over 4.0 and it's nice and responsive.

I have found only one problem with this ROM so far - I cannot persist the Hide Statusbar Clock in Tweaks. If I chose Hide it disappears, but always comes back after reboot. Once it comes back, the setting in Tweaks is still Hide. Has anyone else seen this issue, or know a fix?

I got this rom running pretty quickly but when I go to play store, phone shuts off, bootloops once or twice then boots back up only this time, and eveytime afterwards, it barely makes it to app drawer before it shuts off again. Any ideas?

Guys, I'm sorry for asking this, but I really have searched and I'm sure it's here. I'm probably just not using the right search terms.

I am currently using CleanROM 4.3 with the old firmware, and would like to go ahead and try the new firmware. But the all of the instructions I've found to install the new firmware says you must not be running a custom ROM. What would be the best steps for me to get the new firmware for this ROM?

You can run the RUU. Just lock and run. We have not seen any problems. Really no difference unless the new radios would help.

If it is setup correctly and you actually have root and other apps are able to access root. Pull the apk from the rom.zip or download from the web and reinstall.

Anyone have an issue regarding the display brightness? No matter what brightness level I set it at, it always returns to about 30%. Auto is off. If I turn on Auto, it'll turn off by itself in a couple of minutes and revert to 30%.

Set brightness in main settings or use brightness widget. Setting it in quick settings does not stick. Known bug.

So essentially I can just remove the Brightness in the pulldown menu since it won't work?

Well, I upgraded to 4.3 yesterday. Still need to break everything back in to get it back to just the way I liked it, but there's something I'm wondering.

I specifically recall skipping the backup assistant setup as I always do. Then when I woke up this morning, I found out that it tried to sync to backup assistant and failed due to insufficient storage. What I really don't like is how this happened without any of my consent.

So I disabled the sync and everything, and I'm sure that's working to stop it from ever starting up again. But I want to know how, if possible, to access the data and erase it from the backup assistant storage. Just for the sake of peace of mind, really.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found out you had to do it online instead of from the phone. That wasn't so bad.

I hate to double post, but I have another relatively minor issue.

I noticed both on this iteration and the last version of CleanROM I was using, I don't have a simple "Peep" app show up in the drawer, yet FriendStream and the Twitter widget work when I need them. I would prefer just the app to avoid taking up the space. Is there anything I can do to get it to show up in the app drawer like everything else? Or should I just get Twitter for Android and disregard it altogether?
