[RECOVERY][RootGuide][ALL NOTE 10.1]Official CWM Recovery Touch & Non-Touch 6.0.3.6

How do i make this Recovery`s?

There is now a Official Release for the N8000/N8010/N8013 on www.clockworkmod.com ... i have download this Recovery and repack it in a *.tar for flashing over ODIN and / or repack in a ZIP for flashing over CWM! The N8020 is unofficial modded from me ....

The CWM Recovery is ready for Android 4.2

How to install? (Install Guide in second Post!!)

You can install it over Odin or over the CWM that you have allready installed....

flash over Odin: (unzip the ZIP Once and put the *.tar.md5 file in PDA, then flash)

Root & Recovery Install Guide

How you can Root your N8000 / N8010 / N8013 / N8020 with an Custom Recovery!

What do you need?

Samsung Flash Tool (Odin3 Version 1.85)
USB Driver
CWM Recovery for your Device
SuperSU (Allways latest Version)
Triangle Away for Binary Counter Reset (PlayStore Link / Thread)

How you can install the Custom Recovery and Root?

push SuperSU.zip to your Note 10.1 internal SD Card
Start Odin Tool on PC
power off your device
Set the Note 10.1 to Odin Mode (press and hold On/Off and Volume down!)
now press the Volume Up Button accept terms

now you are in the Odin Mode

connect with you USB Cabel to PC
wait for installing all drivers
if the Odin Tool show the yellow COM Port you are ready
now you setting the Odin Tool
put the ***.tar.md5 (Recovery File) to PDA
disable Auto Reboot
press START for flashing
the flash is only a few seconds, if it ready looks this
press and hold now the On/Off Button and Volume Up Button!!! The Device turn of and reboot If you see the Galaxy Note 10.1 Screen release the On/Off Button and hold Volume Up
now you are in the Custom Recovery
press "install zip from sd-card"

navigate to the folder where you placed the SuperSU.zip

Ready now you have Root and a great Custom Recovery installed
go back and reboot system :highfive:
now you can use the Triangle Away App for Reset the binary Counter
and make an EFS Backup!!!

Downloaded, checked md5, unzipped once, picked pda, and...failed.
Tried via 1.85, and 3.04 but nothing.
I have N8010 , rooted via exynos exploit...

Got it using this:
if you are still getting the stock recovery 3e follow these steps :

1. When flashing CWM through odin untick the "Auto Reboot" option within Odin.
2. Flash CWM.
3. When done , press power & volume up ( the one apart from power button ) until the Samsung logo appears, then leave both buttons.
4. CWM will appear.
5. Choose "Reboot System now "
6. You will get a new screen with an option mentioning something like " disable flash recovery" , press it & reboot.
7. Now if you get back to pressing power & volume up you will have a permanent CWM.

Then you can install root through CWM.

Works fine. Have not tried backing up yet. (Currently trying now). But seems like 'Wipe Battery Stats' missing.
Or maybe we don't need it?

::Update::
Backing up to Int.SD works fine.
Unable to try Ext.SD (yet to get my card). So I assumed works too.
Not sure about restoring though. Will update again if it goes well. Cheers!

Its fine....

This Recovery is Unofficial because i have modded it ... officiall it is first if Koush make his own Recovery!

The N8020 is no more beta and works on a few Devices allready fine!! thats good :good:

I've used this version of recovery and it works perfectly. I also use Rom manager to backup to ext sd and internal. Formatting sd works flawlessly as well. I've never had an issue restoring either. Thanks a million Darkman!
