512MB ram, 624MHz + 260MHz processor, 480x800 resolution! Yeah, definately a beast. Samsung watch out, the Chinese strike again...

Oh, and it says Android 4.0 UI, I doubt it actually runs ICS.

+1 I sincerely hope the original poster was sarcastic or I despair about our youth.

Perfectly adequate for quite many uses. Not a gaming machine by a long shot, but for example someone with poor vision would definitely like the large screen, and with those specs it would browse the web just fine, handle e-mail and so on.

Atleast its specs are fine for ICS, and ICS is just as easy to compile as GB, so I see no reason why not.

It's probably adequate for minor tasks but such a large screen and a relatively low resolution on a low quality screen, I don't know... Definately not "holy ****" as far as I'm concerned. I doubt it's equiped with a decent GPU and that's one of the major requirements for running ICS.

Chances are it isn't even running Android, there are dozens of Chinese iPhone clones running a simple phone OS with iPhone icons and look.

Besides, how much support can you expect from these Chinese copycats as even the major companies are still struggling to update their top models to ICS?

Oh well, you get what you pay for I guess.

Compairing this and the original is obviously pointless. Yes, some people in China might buy it and yes, I'm sure they'll get some profit out of it.

As far as I'm concerned...I just wanna know if it's running real ICS. If it is...then I'm a bit pissed with our ORIGINAL Samsung devices :p

No, it's not. ICS can run even without any hardware-acceleration at all.

The MediaTek MTK6573 SoC is a fairly popular chip in use on hundreds of different existing Android-phones, there is no reason why it would suddenly run a non-Android OS on this one.

EDIT: Additional information here. Its video-playback capabilities are pretty poor and it only supports FWVGA resolutions, but aside from that it even sports a crude 3D-accelerator, and all the usual goodies like FM-radio, GPS, bluetooth, 802.11n, etc.
